you can just do a one second video, and convert it to a picture that moves (gif I think)

and you may be able to hack it eventually and take pics, or maybe apple will let you in a new update.

if you can get the video onto your pc you can probably get a snapshot, and it should be able to take stills anyways but either way you should be able to.
