first off, his tail doesn't have poison in it and he doesn't have teeth. he has fangs which have poison, and he controls whether the poison comes out or not.

I own several snakes. I love it. It's adorable. (I know I know) but I can't help it. I like his fangs. No green snake has a rattler though. hee hee :)

Many of them are good pets. Especially Ball Pythons. They don't grow too big and are not aggressive by nature. Corn snakes are escape artists but all kinds of differnt colors and grow to the perfect size. Boa constrictors are exotic to a lot of people but you never know how they'll turn out. ( I've had great boas as pets. Just don't get a Reticulated Python (regular size) because they have the power to kill you. I own 3 cobras but they've been de-venomized. I wish they were free though.

They mostly appreciate the hand that feeds them. ...and sometimes, will chomp that hand if you mess up. ha ha... I could swear that my Burmese python, Feleesha had some kind of compassion for me. I really think she knew only me. I think it was my long hair. She seemed to love me. ...she'd curl up with only me. I say, ...never underesimate anything with animals.
