Yanno, I was just thinking that. Losing your weapon results in an IA investigation and is often a career killer. Elisa has lost no less than 5 pistols in the first 11 episodes (got shot with one of them too) and is still a detective. Maybe she lost the one and keeps buying replacements? Except this is NYC, so getting a handgun is hard unless you buy illegally. Maybe she raids the evidence locker for new guns?

What's wrong with the term? Even adults can use 'grown-ups', I was just using it because if I did say '...even the stuff made for adults', it would sound like I was comparing to shows with adult content, instead of shows with more complex stories and dilemmas which is what I was going for.
