I feel for you because I also have Fibromyalgia/Lupis and it is not an easy thing to deal with. I was diagnosed in 1997 and by 1999 I was on permanent disbility. It's hard because if you don't take the meds you are in pain and if you do you sleep all day. Try to walk and do light exercise because that helps with pain. Also, there are certain types of foods that trigger flare ups, so you might want to look into what not to eat. Hope this helps. Take Care. :)

Er..) and before my family doctor finally sent me to a specialist (original thought was rheumatoid arthritis since pain was in ALL joints) I have tried many things. I have gone gluten-free (not really 100% on that anymore, but I try), I have recently cut out sugar, salt and (most) processed foods (Clean Eating). Have been on Amitryptaline for 2 years & that worked until this summer.
Speaking of affliction, have you tried any sort of herbal/home remedy for the pain relief? I feel like I've seen a lot of that kind of thing on natural/homeopathic forums. If you believe in all the hoohob :) (I do!)

I totally know what you mean about medicine. I was on some TERRIBLE stuff for my anxiety once (and I couldn't eat citrus with it, either!). And I had bronchitis this summer, and the antibiotic they gave me made me have CRAZY insomnia and nausea. Sometimes the cure is worse than the affliction!
