Which ever is the reason people buy his fights it brings revenue to boxing. Its not just about fighting, it has to be entertaining too. What is a fact is that MMA is still a new sport! but Im white and i can say that generally blacks are more athletic. Right now, the technical fighters are still prominent. But when a more athletic guy comes around (with technique), he will dominate. Think, Jon Jones had been doing MMA for 3 years... and he beat shogun thats been doing matrial arts all his life. and Shogun grew up in a tougher neiborhood in brasil.

You know what guys I really don't like Jones at all. I know all pro fighters have attitudes but this guy really goes too far. He wins and makes it a point of disgracing his opponent. I really hate that and believe me it will bite him in the butt later. However let me say this. His grappling game and ability to finish people is scary. Matyushenko is no joke on the ground and Jones easily controlled him like the guy was nothing. This is scary in my mind. Look what he did to Rampage. Scary

Which ever is the reason people buy his fights it brings revenue to boxing. Its not just about fighting, it has to be entertaining too. Herb Dean fucking up the fights again!! Vlad was far from being unconscious. How the hell this guy could be awarded the best referee again??? I doubt Herb would have let the the Sogun/Hendo go on after Hendo put Shogun down on the third round, we would lose one of the best fights ever. On the TUF 14 finale I counted 2 early stoppages by this guy, sorry but Herb is one of the things that makes me sad about MMA.

@bogoio Well, it looks like we have someone who doesn't know much about MMA here. He was put into crucifix which means he has no control of his right arm. Jon Jones has the best elbows in MMA period and had Vlad to the point where he was unable to intelligently defend himself. Therefore if the fight went on, all that would happen was Vlad getting extremely hurt. Herb is the best ref in MMA and that was a correct stoppage. Learn some MMA before you post stupid things.

What is a fact is that MMA is still a new sport! but Im white and i can say that generally blacks are more athletic. Right now, the technical fighters are still prominent. But when a more athletic guy comes around (with technique), he will dominate. Think, Jon Jones had been doing MMA for 3 years... and he beat shogun thats been doing matrial arts all his life. and Shogun grew up in a tougher neiborhood in brasil.

@JuceyX Not really, Jones was a football player and wrestler through out his high school and collegiate career, he decided to go the MMA route because he wasnt good enough for the NFL, like his brother, What he has is long arms and legs that most light heavyweights are not used to, kind of like Anderson Silva, however he does have holes in his game, and Rua was coming off a year layoff and knee surgery which was like his third one in the last 3 years, I think Machida, Rampage would beat Jones
