  • Personally I don't think you can leave out 98 Remembrance from their greats, the 97 pirate closer or the 93 strawberry soup. Maybe you just weren't around back then, but they were great.

I love how when they interviewed the girl in the 05 gaurd they acted like it was rough for her. Please, she had 130 guys around here every day lol. She was probably in heaven.

  • The ending to the 1999 show is just godly.

  • In 95 DCI decides to record with potatoes FML

  • i dont understand how they have never won the championship. the end of the 95 show i almost jizzed in my pants watching it. no joke.

  • @Teder95 they won the championship in 75 and 88

  • Yeah, well they should get their priorities figured out. Whatever brainchild is in charge of their social media department, if they have one, should realize that people offering these vids of ancient shows online for all to see can only help their cause.

  • DCI are morons. Why in the world would you copyright historical performances and not let prospective corp members watch and be amazed watching these old amazing shows. Ridiculous. Does DCI really make that much off of a 1994 video recording of the Madison Scouts???? I am guessing no. Maybe I'm wrong.

  • @mkendels Surprisingly enough they are.. I got rammed by DCI many times.. To the extend I don't dare to post anymore DCI shows..

  • needing 2001 scouts full show! It's not anywhere on youtube!!

  • I marched with the Cano's from 90-93 and I will never forget the Park and Blow session with City of Angels! That was awesome. Go Scouts!

  • I was lucky enough to witness the 95 show in person, thankfully. DCI really loused up the tapes that year...

  • @magikkmann

I was lucky enough to MARCH the 95 show in person, thankfully. And... yes they did. Jackknobs.

  • zomg theres a chick on the field... :D

  • Haha of the first clip are people covering their ears?!?! it's as if it is to loud for their ears to handle...just the way I like it. I would be proud going deaf to this

  • Great post -- thanks from a fellow Scout.

  • Madison of the late 80's through the 90s....awesome!

  • Love most of this, BUT, where is ANYTHING from 1975? 1988? The TWO DCI Championship years????? I know you can't put something from every year, but those two years, were both CLASSIC Madison.

    MYNWA Brother.

  • 1999 is the best ending ever in dci

  • EL VAQUERO!!

  • 88 = awesome. Love 95 and 96 and 99, too.

  • 1:02-1:04 -- check the guard member breaking his flagpole with his knee (hard to see with the video compression, but it's there). Friggin' cool.

  • Add 2010! lol

  • I think the award for loudest corps should go to the Scouts. May not always be the cleanest, but they blow you out of your seat.

  • what about 97? Where the DM takes a picture of the crowd? That's definitely a top 5 Madison Moment !!! Also 88.

  • You have to add the 1988 show. One of the best just-stand-and-play-as-loud-as-you-can closers in DCI history.

  • Ya def, got some moments to add from this summer :)

    -2010 Madison Scouts Member.

  • no strawberry soup? gotta put some strawberry soup in there.

  • AMAZING!!!

  • Where's the '75 show?

  • 1995 is still the best!

  • WHY IS THERE A CHICK AT 4:26?!?!??!?? Scouts are an all MALE corps!!!!

  • @claybo13 Their show in 2005 was called "The Carmen Project" so they had a girl play the role as Carmen in the colorguard. From what I understand, it was only the second time in the corps' history that they've had a girl in the corps with the other time being in 1971 with an "Alice in Wonderland" show they did, and that was the year before the first DCI championship.

  • @claybo13 The 2005 show was Carmen so they Madison decided to have one female dancer that year for the title role. It was an effective choice imo.

  • Goodness... You should have found a better video of the end of the 07 show... That was one of like 2 shows that they were "experimenting" with the ending. This one was pretty bad. But I can say that because I was in that show. Haha

  • @dmatthews778 Haha... I'm extend my warmest welcome to the man who marched Madison Scouts.

  • @dmatthews778 Nothing the Scouts do is bad. They're one of the most enjoyable corps to watch and listen too. The opening to the 2007 show was amazing!

  • @dmatthews778 No kidding. The video of San Antonio is depressing. Was a rough part of the season. I remember crying (just a lil) after that show. I also remember get extremely wasted in the city before watching finals lol.

I would almost pay you money to remake this and use the semis video for 07

  • @dmatthews778 Gotta love Ed Perry..........

  • You should make another one and include 96, 88, 75 and some other great years...

    MYNWA,

    '96 Mello

  • What's with the chick?

  • what was the last song that was played by the madison scouts? what year wasthat >>

  • Madison Scouts was hot back then what happen to them now ?

  • Thanks for the '03 love. MYNWA '01,03

  • Nice job!

    MYNWA 94-96

  • Definitely have to add 07's opener. That was probably one of the most bad ass ways to take the field ever (Not too say that any other years the Scouts weren't bad ass when taking the field :-D ).

It was awesome to get to see some of the old 07 drill!

  • YES !

  • This makes me proud to be a Scout!

    Thank you!

  • Do you have a video of them doing Madisonic 2004?

  • saw it live at the tour of champions in san jose Ca.

  • Yes I do... But I don't want to get rammed by copyright.. Again...

  • oh, gosh that sucks. :(

  • @tytzer93 Just that show is copyrighted? I marched that show (im the sop at 3:59 on the right side that spins around) and would love to have a vid.

  • @Jetli390 If he did, that show would not be listed as a best moment of the Scouts, unfortunately. I saw that show live at East and was utterly deflated and let down by its lack of impact and emotion where it was clearly designed to do so.

  • Ummm..... how about 1975???? They kinda won that year.

  • what about 1991 city of angels i cant find it its a sexy ass solo

  • 1988 best show ever

  • Coming soon! Stay tuned. LOL!!

  • is this just best moments from the 90's and up?

  • Would have thrown in the end of 1998, some of 1993, a lot of 1988, and some really good stuff between 89-92. But well put together regardless. MYNWA!

  • You opened with my favorite part of any drum corp show ever. I've been looking for that for a long time. thanks for posting!
