  • How come when I try this on my revit, it says "Unable to create form element: self-intersecting or singular geometry would result."

  • how do i add thickness to this surface?

  • Good Tips how to creat the shape.

    Thank You.

  • One more thing, are the splines the result of a quadratic equation or a catenary curve within Revit. The reason I'm asking is the ability to figure out a "y" dimension for a given "x" dimension and vice-versa. I always liked graphing in Algebra; I do need to get out more.

  • David, After some bollocking about, I was able to do this assignment. For claritys sake at 8:10, you refer to the lines as splines, not spline through points as the icon shows. Am I correct? I've always respected Candela's work; can't wait to create more families. After I get some sleep. Thanks again. Cheers.

wanna know how to make this mesh shape into a solid mass? thx again!

  • Lobachevskian geometry made easy.

    Thank you.

  • Nice work David. Remember that for Mass families, you don't need to flex in the Types dialog anymore...just move the elements in the drawing area!
