These days are gone forever. Jesus...what do we have today? Shakira asshole cunt from south america? Asshole extraordinaire? . Fuckin Lady Gaga? The fag Jonas Brothers. What the fuck has happened? Music is so fucking bad no wonder cd sales suck? Glad I lived in the era I did. The future sucks when you consider the shitbags who are young. They are worthless idiots!
@Sabbath24 yes but in every generation, the previous one is envied. I saw rainbow in '79 and longed for Deep Purple. And in the early 70s we lamented the death of Hendrix and Beatles breakup. I'm not saying that there's anything to day that you are missing...just something I thought I'd share. I saw Zeppelin in '77 and found Page+Plant, a much better performance, and Page & The Black Crows, better still. . . so keep an open mind and ears...'cause you never know
@dgate007 um... Purple still tours... Morse is more bad-ass than Blackmore... Gillan still has a pretty good voice... Paice is a fucking clock... The Music lives on... I'm 17 and my band does this music, and I know many other bands trying to capture this without drugs, so it's not all dead.
@dgate007: That's a bit too much of a generalisation, I'm 16 and really wish I had been around for these days, and I also agree that todays music is shite.
I hear it entire at my friend Victor's home in the DVD, Ian Gillan is the king of rock and hard rock and everything. One of my favorites songs ever. she's a evil.
That's a very, very good remark...I grew up in England on purple in the early 70's...always a huge influence & so underated overseas...then enjoyed UFO/Schenker for many years... but good talented talented bands are like rockin horse shit these days...the 70's were a truly glorious time...perhaps to be repeated ?
One of the best bands ever....and one of their best tunes...brilliant

all great hard rock starts with the blues, and in some cases, it doesnt need much more than that.

This was Filmed In Copenhagan in Early March 1972. Not in Japan. There is no video footage of Purple from Japan.
