@ptee5454 they also have vegetable tincures that taste really good. with tinctures alot of folks ask if it has to be heated up with an alcohol extraction. If you were to heat it it would be for 12min or less with not more heat than would burn it, a little over 200 should do it. But Cannabis has active ingred that will bind with alc and letting it sit will give it time to bind with the max amount of THC and other cannabinoids. @Buddy i love your videos, not an auto fan but you do awesome withthem

@canna49 Dude, thc is soluble in fat and alcohol. Do some research and you'll see you can make a tincture just by soaking in high alc. ... Adding heat speeds up this process (basic science here). So there are many recipes out there for making your tincture. Heating your bud before you soak it (185 Fahrenheit) allows the bud to begin its decarboxylation. And how do you explain being so rude and nasty when u don't get the answer you want from someone who's helping?

NEXT-How did you "end up" with 8 oz of liquid when you started with 16?-Did you ket this evaporate for a time?..If so-How Long?>.

Highly doubting your heat-less tincture as any raw(not heated) plant materials have OTHER compounds beside THC-I want THC.

@canna49 yeah man, after 4 days of 190proof grain alcohol it would have evaporated that much. he says he strained it thru a cheese cloth so no heat was used in this. you are correct in wondering if the decarboxylation has happened or not. sorry to hear about your conditions brother, i hope you find that perfect way to prepare your medicine.

@torkjoy1 just expeiriement with your dosage take 2-3 drops and if you feel nothing in 30-45 mins take a couple more drops remember to store your tincture in a dark place because sunlight destroys the part that helps with cancer

@1yearoldfather no, thc does not need to be activated. thc binds to fat and to alcohol. just use a strong proof alcohol and leave your bud in there for about 4 days, strain it out... good to go! be sure to keep it in tinted bottles as it will break down faster in light.

@blubonicKronic407 yeah reduce your tincture down by gently heating it, best method is in a warm bath- just fill a pot with water, place your tincture, still in the glass jar, in the bath, and bring it to about 120 degrees farenheit, this will evaporate the alcohol off and leave you with an even more potent tincture- depending on how much you reduce it, it can become an extract- just make sure you open a window, and don't walk away from it.
