i have to say, having played MTG for years and years casually.... you really don't need to be this methodical when you're doing the stack. not at all!

the easiest way is just to remember that whatever was last played resolves first. so sometimes it's easy to just pile the cards on top of each other as you cast them, and resolve them one by one by taking them back off the top of the pile.
