Let me explain something for some of you; this is not Modern Warfare 3, nor Battlefield, nor Socom, or any other video game. You take this so lightly as if it will never affect you. It's not like the games. There's no good guy -vs- bad guy. It's war. Destruction, devastation, and death. If we (the US) go to war with Iran, China will go to war with us. If China does, Britain will. If Britain does, so will North Korea, then France, Russia, Germany, etc etc. The world will be at war again...

I don't care what happens, my allegiance is to my people, my language and my culture, not any particular country if I'm honest. You on the other hand are so blinded by Islam you can't see the true problem unfolding around you. Regardless who Iran has by their side, if they choose to continue we'll have another Cold War on our hands. We came very close to the end in the first one...

@CaptainAwesomeRocks Despite the US's global downfall, I have no doubts that we can still hold our own in a war. Should we end up in another conflict with Iran, of course China will get involved. If they declare war on the US, Britain and France will be right behind us. Then North Korea will back China as well as Russia. Italy will fall behind the US alliance; if Chinese leaders have any sense at all, they'd choose not to cause the third World War.

@CaptainAwesomeRocks You have to think of Britain, Germany, France and Italy as well as many other countries as just one unit now - the EU. Iran wont be at war with individual countries, it will be at war with multiple alliances of very powerful nations. The UK still has a lot of influence on the entire world. If the UK go to war all of the EU, the Commonwealth of Nations, the United States and other international allies will go to war. Hows that for a country that can be turned to dust in days?

I FEEL BAD FOR IRAN. I'm not sure that they ARE developing a weapon, simply for the sake that our political candidates for president, besides Paul, are INSISTING that they are, which makes me think twice. And if they ARE, it is simply because that having one makes them less likely to be targeted.

Japan and other countries are backing off of Iran oil exports, just like the US is, and it's choking their economy. If they close the Strait, it's economic suicide.

@pprzes01 Who says we didn't know about it? We're only a digest and have only so much time to put out the top items related to the subject matter. As we continually say, the public should make their own evaluations and not rely on the DEFCON Warning System for strategic planning. We didn't mention Iran's military exercise off Afghan's border because it wasn't relevant.

@PhantomLordNYC If I remember right it went to blue back in March '11 due to Fukushima and the related fallout. It went back down as the reactor didn't go completely off the charts.

As for the Iran situation, I want to say I hope its hot air as well, but the French are sending in their only nuclear carrier to position with our 2 (with an additional leaving) supers and 1 assault (helicopter) carrier. That is a lot of hardware in one area. Then you have the Russians off of Syria...
