@McReins nahhh... way too risky for hyena's to try and mob a healthy male lion simply to try and 'kill it'. it's all about risk vs. rewards for these animals and one swift bite across the back of a hyena from an adult male lion in his prime = a broken back and certain death. there are many videos online of male lions killing hyena's, loads infact. show me a hyena -or a group- killing a healthy adult male lion. hyena's are likely to mob lioness' though and chase them from a kill.
