Arctics took a great song and TRIED to make it their own. You cannot do that to somebody elses song in my eyes. By all means respect them and cover it, but to try and make it your own is incredibly disrespectful.

@bigdunk9 I think they have every right to do it, presumably if they released it into public domain then they had the original bands permission so dont see why they shouldnt. I actually prefer the Cave version, but they made a good crack at making it their own and who's to stop them? They did a cover in their own style. I think they made something relevant to todays music fans out of a classic and if people get turned onto Cave by that then all the better. They can discover some great music :)

Saw the Bad Seeds at the first Big Day Out in Melb Aus. At the 3:48 mark 2 bolts of lightning hammered down at 45 deg behind the stage on either side that even shook Blixa! Right at the Orgasm of the song! Phuk n heck it was God was in attendance. Utterly Sensational Shtuff
