Hi ! How do you do picture to picture and did you live in chevy chase MD USA? Cause I used to and it looks like it!! ^^ Thank's!

@13taylorswiftluv You drag a picture or video onto the video. After you let go a menu pops up asking you what you want to do. Choose "picture in picture" and it'll do it.

We live in Utah. I shot the video in the fall here.

@JBD7DramaQueen Not that I'm aware of. I've tried it a couple times and it's only available for the main clip.

quick question how do you add text into the titles and credits?

help me! your video is very great quality, i however am not getting the same results. i dont have a HD camcorder but when i place a movie in imovie to edit, the final result is horrible compared to the original file. can you explain to me how you did this? my end result is pixilated, color is washed out and it all together looks horrid can you help me?

@Nevanator7 I'm not sure on your's, but I just use the Share function and choose the highest quality that it will let me export the video at.

@Nevanator7 I export as a .mov and I don't use the QuickTime settings.

Just Share > Export Movie > Select the highest output

Drag a clip on top of another clip and it'll give you an option. Picture in Picture is one of the options you can choose.

No not at walmart try the apple online store or maybe the actual apple retail store, the program is called iLife and works only for macs, it also comes preinstalled on all macs

do you know how to have the text pop up normally instead of having it fade?

No. I haven't gotten that far into it yet. I was just using the defaults.

so they still havent put imovie hd's video effects in? THAT IS SO DUMB!!! What happened to slow, reverse, color change, all of the video effects!! And the sound effects! High Voice, low voice, where is THAT?? Did they put that back in? And also is it in imovie 08 and I just can't find it?

Nope. Still missing a lot of effects. It will do slow & reverse. Not sure on color change. I didn't discover slow & reverse until after I'd done this. I don't think it'll do the high & low voice either. Nope. Not in iMovie 08.

Yes. From what I've heard all new MacPro's are shipping with iLife 09 which has iMovie 09.

There may still be some old stock on shelves in some Apples stores so be sure to check before you buy.

Dang, I need to get this. It's like all the stuff that I really needed when I started making vids T-T Did they also bring back the special effects and stuff from iMovie HD, like fast/slow/reverse, earthquake, sound effects, etc.?

Fast/slow & reverse are back. Sound effects still suck, not sure on earthquake.

Also, if you shoot in 60i, the interlacing isn't working right so it's going to make me shoot in 30p.
