  • Top Video man - I am in Australia and am going to get the front yard going. It is Dead and grows all sorts of roots which i have just dug up... Do i need to do anything before i put compost on ?

  • @ThePhantomLash Hi, Thanks for the comment. I would try dolomite lime to ensure the soil is relatively PH nuetral. Then start from there by adding compost or manure as shown in the video. You could even put a few more inches on if you think the soil has been depleted severely. I am makin a stab in the dark by saying the roots are Dock? If so the soil will have a lot of nitrogen fixed by the dock roots. Keep it natural and you will see rewards. Another good Aus product is Seasol.
