Because of Simulate Pressure and Add to Path Area. Press the button next to Auto Add/Delete.

From window menu choose "brush" or you can just press " F5 " on the keyboard to show the brushes window. then, at the Brush Tip Shape .. tick the Shape Dynamics option.

Now go and Stroke the path using brush but don't forget to tick Simulate Pressure before applying the stroke

Help! I did exactly as you said I should do (in the beginning, creating the circle) and I have chosen "foreground to background" and still, the dark area is in the middle of the circle :S why?

Press "x" to swap your foreground and background colours around before you do your gradient.

That should sort you.

i like the tutorial and i've been trying to do the same but i can't get the second part done. i succeed to draw the path but when i try to do "stroke path", it only color the "points" instead of the "line", why? im using Windows vista and CS btw
