N97 still has RAM issues and no where near enough internal memory considering Nokia insist on loading so much software to internal memory, for example Ovi maps at 9Mb!

The first phone, the white one, is a N97. The second phone, the black one, is the mini. At 1:23, when he opens the phone you can see the lack of the D-pad. Also the green, red and menu buttons are/seem further apart.

The phone that he is showing is NOT the N97.....its the N97 Mini. You can tell by the size but also the keyboard. It has direction KEYS instead of the the direction PAD.

The LG Prada has the same type of touch screen as the Iphone (capasitive, stylists doesn't work on them) and was announced a month before the Iphone.

Looks like the posted video is not fully complete (ie. edited) so i'm missing some of the commentary. I see the white and also a black N97 but at 4:30 (for example) can anyone confirm the model with keyboard minus the 'D' pad is the N97 mini? I don't see a lot of difference in size in the video. It look good (if it's the 'mini') It also looks like they reclaim a lot of keyboard space by losing the 'D' pad. Looks a nice unit.

why does Symbian look so old? i don't know, it just seems so outdated to me. it has all the features, just barely are implemented in a more usable way. for example, the drab blue interface and plain icons. nothing screams "fresh" and "new". i think they should have just put their Maemo OS on this instead, which actually is up to speed with Web OS, iPhone OS, and Android and looks promising.

Symbian Os comes in different versions and is deployed on a whole range of phones not just Nokia phones.

S60 V5 is a direct iphone and RIM chanllenger hence the comparison should be between phones deployed with it and phones it aims to compete with.

I think Nokia are doing much better than Apple because they are getting out stuff that people actually will use.

Apple on the other hand called their new iphone the 3GS which only has one feature, and that is speed.

I don't like capacitive touch screen cos if I'm in the cold and I am wearing gloves I can't use the phone it doesn't work that way.

I actually prefer the keyboard on the N97, I used both and the N97 keyboard just feels more real, cos it is real.
