Dude I hate Christian bands. Don't troll, I'm entitled to my opinion. I don't hate Christians. I'm agnostic with Christian leanings. My girlfriend that I love more than anything and will someday have a magnificent Christian marriage with is a devout Catholic. Christian bands bother me. I hate religious recruitment. To me, it takes away everything good about music. Now don't get me wrong, I love a lot of the music that Christian bands make. But the bands themselves and a lot of the lyrics: Ewy!
@teddypunkstar Like Relient K, for example: one of my favorite all-time bands. They are sweet. But I hate the "Christian band" label. Who really should know that or care at all. I don't care if Ozzy bites bats heads off on the way to his Synagogue.
Such a beautiful song, at times I wonder why it still affects me, could it be my childhood indoctrination, the memories of the friends I once had, or is it the message that the song shows or the tone of the instruments. The truth is that the bible itself and the god that made it is so kind or else 'the problem of evil' would not be a problem. But like all religions, it is a choice to live in the delusion or not, and to destroy someones who peacefully holds the belief is not proper.
It makes me cry to see some of these people leaving untrue comments on the True Faith. As a child, I never really enjoyed Mass or praying. But now, thanks to my friends and my Lord, I've changed so much. I want to live my life with God. get married, have a large family, and teach them about Christ our Savior.
And at that point, It will be my own beliefs. Something that I believe because I can prove it. Not because I heard all the stories as a kid. And that regardless of which path it follows, will be real to me
I know religion isn't political completely. It's just that I've seen so many people that believe a religion for the reasons I was saying. The whole idea of believing in something and living your whole life trying to follow something that you only believed because your parents/people at church told you is wack. If you didn't believe you were going to go to hell, and that kept people scared enough to keep following it.

To many people follow a religion because there parents drilled them into it from a young age. That's brainwashing, not faith. I chose not to go the same route as my family. I don't "know" anything. That's where most people go wrong. They think they know god does or doesn't exist. I'm always open to the possibilities of any religion or none being true.
You are wrong I'm afraid, yes sometime it is the case. But as we grow into teens and adults we can make our own decisions. And we choose Christ, not for our parents, but for ourselves. I have learned other religions and Christianity is the only one that makes sense. Now that I'm older I realized my parents were always right, and I figured that out by checking for myself.
Please reconsider your choice to go the other way, Friend.

I agree, there is actually a good amount of evidence to support weather or not Christ did or didn't exist or weather or not God truly does exist, but some just choose to ignore it. My advice is to truly search, keep looking until god reveals something to you, don't stop, but use scripture to discern truth from lies, this is very important, many philosophies and man made rules lead many astray because of there lack of faith in god, don't rely on your own understanding.
Hey man, I know where you are coming from. Even as a Christian I've been turned off a lot by Christians and the things that God's people condone, what we say, how we act. As far as facts are concerned just from reading into creation/evolution debates, two people can show eachother all the facts and evidences they want ot but in the end the person will believe what they wish. But I suggest you pray, search, and listen. It worked for me :)

oh wow this song is amazing! I heard it 4 the 1st time last night at church and I was crying then and im crying now...My best friend Logan was completely atheist when I met him in July 07. I prayed and prayed 4 him, and when he would let me, I talked to him about God. He was saved November 1 07. We've been through so much together, we are as close as I think friends can be, we're like sibs, and this song is perfect...I remember crying and praying every night 4 him. i'm so proud of him! PTL!

oh wow this song is amazing! I heard it 4 the 1st time last night at church and I was crying then and im crying now...My best friend Logan was completely atheist when I met him in July 07. I prayed and prayed 4 him, and when he would let me, I talked to him about God. He was saved November 1 07. We've been through so much together, we are as close as I think friends can be, we're like sibs, and this song is perfect...I remember crying and praying every night 4 him. i'm so proud of him! PTL!
