can i play it on high but in 800 * 600 resolution

@azizbutt100 to be honest i think the 9400 will not run prototype very well. in the fights it lags even at 1024x768... and your ram is a bit too low but try it.

It's means how strong the bluring of the edges is. The higher the AA is the smoother is the picture you get. But a high AA needs a lot of graphical power.

I think it will run fine at a low-middle resolution. Your Cpu is a bit slower than mine but it i cannot guarantee anything. Maybe you should test first.

thx, i think you can play it on a smooth fps rate in most of the gameplay with your system (on 1024x768). The only slowdown i had was in front of a water tank when the water came out, but thats ok. One thing you will miss are good shadows because the 9400 isn't that good...

i have a 9400gt also and i get maybe 1 fps if that with 512mb ram. would the ram being half yours really cause it to be that slow?

on 1024 resolution you could turn up aa2x and/or shadows middle and it would work fine. In the fight parts when many effects come together the fps will drop a bit. Sry, but i can't test it on higher resolutions because of my old monitor...
