I will give it six months before that yellow logo has ITV logo stuck to it and we are calling it ITV Breakfast

GMTV did the same, tried a different format to TVam, it was a spectacular failure so they changed the GMTV studio to look like an updated TVam studio and went back to the same format. And so the saga continues.... but lucky old Lorraine she is still there, Mike Morris must be kicking himself.

Same old, same old. Everytime ITV changes breakfast TV it goes back after it realises it didn't work. This is just GMTV with a different name.

It's interesting to follow the evolution of Daybreak, but why does it take them an ice age to tackle each issue? Some 16 months just to turn the logo yellow, when purple misfired from day one.

The new title sequence looks very low budget and vastly under-produced. I swear they must have just sent the work experience lad outside with a camcorder.

I don't mean to kick them while they're down, and they are drifting in the right direction (just). But come on, gee up this rescue mission a bit.

Trying to make it back into GMTV with the colour scheme! Why don't they just bring back the GMTV presenters and rename it!! They've got Dan and Kate practically done! Then change the content!

the refresh looks warmer, more morning like rather than the old previous purple scheme, however I can't warm to these presenters

Hmmm..yellow and white? This screams ITV1's 2006 logo and look how it changed.

change the name change the theme bring back some old faces then we will have GMTV back
