The only ACTUAL difference between a standard crawl to the page, and the ROBOTS.TXT disallowed page isthat Googz won't crawl the target...it will just index the site URL and it will use the KEYWORDS to assign the TITLE to that SERP. I use this strategy all the time when ranking disallowed pages.

I understand pagerank can be calculated but to which keywords, since the page that's robotted out cannot be searched for keywords.

pagerank does not depend on keywords, pagerank is only calculated for one url, it is the same no matter what keyword this url ranks for
