@soccermicc12 TNA changes the name of their wresters that came from the WWE because WWE owns the name Mr Kennedy, Anderson is his real name. For example if Triple H was fired from the WWE TNA could never use the name Triple H. Booker T was allowed to keep it because he used it on the indy circut before he was in WCW and the WWE. That is a rare exception though correct me if Im wrong though.

Getting pushed with a character he didn't want. Two versions of the story exist, the one where he's released for being careless in ring, and my version. Pretty sure that my version was reported on PWI after the 'released' version was also reported, so...*shrugs*

Also, it's Kennedy's fault for getting Orton angry. Kennedy fucked up the back suplex, nearly injuring Orton (Collarbone injury in 08+hypermobile shoulders, remebmer) so Orton stiffed the RKO, and Kennedy tweaked his wrist.

If you search youtube for the match with the "botched" back suplex, you can see that it is a traditional back suplex. Orton rolled backwards and over sold it to complete the illusion that he was hurt (this is what wrestlers do for a living).

I would compare it to if the Rock complained about hurting his neck from taking an oversold Stone Cold Stunner.

No. They exchanged heated words backstage, but Orton isn't that big a bitch. Kennedy asked for his release, because he didn't like the direction that his character was moving in. The charcter had lost all it's attitude and Kennedy didn't like that.

Anyway, despite how massively talented Kennedy is, he was too much of a liability. He was too injury prone, and he didn't have drawing power as a redeeming quality (like Edge and Batista do).

Let me start off by saying I am a huge Ken Kennedy/Anderson fan. But when you have a history of being injured a lot AND injuring other people? He just became a liability. On October 1st, 2007 he botched a hip toss that tore John Cena's pec. And upon his recent return he dropped Randy Orton on his surgically repaired shoulder. Randy Orton told him to be careful afterwards, but he didn't want him to get fired. That was purely managments call to protect their investments.
