I have a wig thats matted terribly bad. I don't think this is going to work on it. Its a remi 100% full lace body wave. It got like that after I washed it. Im not sure of how this bleach and ammonia could unmat it. :-(
@ladyj40 Hey. If it tangles after a wash the hair cuticles were not flowing in the same direction. Try it, it won't hurt the hair, just don't leave the wig in the solution longer than 2mins or it will affect the color. If anything, it will soften it up for you.

I reccently purchased a FULL LACE WIg From Camile of made to be natural wigs.com.. What a bunch of JUNK! $995.00 , yea she got me.. That thing shed like the devil.. I was horrified. I washed it and Omgoodness did it shed.. When I wore the unit hair was everywhere.. My curls at the end had knots in them.. A MESS.. what a rip off her and her web page!! my hair balls look just like yours except I had strands of hair ..... .. EYUCK- gross!!! thank you for the bleach bath..
What does the Silicon Mix do? Is it the same solution some wig are being shipped with. To keep them from tangeling??? And what to use on a front lace wig/weft in back to keep it from shedding??? THX Gurl
@Gbaby779 Silicon?! one of the baddest conditioners out there. Works to soften the hair and is dyno-mite after a bleach bath because it replenishes lost moisture and shine. Put unit in a plastic bag and micro about 40secs after the wash. And, there's no sure-fire solution on the market for shedding but I'm swearing by the "Softex". So far I really like it. Have to put on again after a alcohol cleaning but it sure cut down the shedding on my store bought units while I'm wearing them.
@bubbleseast The asian holder is the only one ppl have been able to find, myself included, so you'll have to use the chinese holder for the german needle. The flat tip at the end of the needle will have to be cut off for it to fit inside the holder. I think "Jamesgirl37" has a vid about that.
maybe when the wig was vented they did not watch what way the cuticals were going, just thought....and would make alot of sence if that was the way the wig was vented

I am going to try it on an old unit first and then my other unit. I have to practice with that two minutes of combing. Thank you I may try to video it to let you see how it looks.
PLEASE do not EVER mix bleach and ammonia in any amount. This mixture produces deadly chlorine gas, which has been used in warfare. I won't speculate on the intentions of whomever concocted this process, but it is absolutely insane to me that people are doing this in their homes
@guccimullet Hi, the products are not mixed together, the baths are separate procedures. This is clearly stated verbally along with the annotations to not mix the products together and they were not. I left residue behind, I'm grown so that is my problem and responsibility. However just in case anyone else missed it, I'll state it again at the start of the vid, thx. The process works and if someone is stuck w/a 400+$ worth of tangled locs, this is an alternative and that's all it is...

@sgchappell2007 re dbl/sing knots.. I dble knot the entire unit except at the front hairline now. The dbl knots don't slip out as easy as single knots. Single knots used in the front hairline is because they don't show therefore do not have to be bleached but they can easily stick to your adhesive and be pulled out when removing your unit, so a lace release must be used, not just alcohol.
