Thank you so much for this priceless slideshow! Mr. Brynner, a foreign-born actor who remarkably made films in English, was even more remarkable for being a notable artistic & commercial success in the U.S. both theatrically and in the films he acted. He was unquestionably a Phenomenal Talent beyond description. I was in love with this man from the time I was in grade school to the time of his death in Oct 1985. His persona is timeless and his memory will live on.

I have a 14x16 black and white photo that Yul B. autographed for me. Also, I have a hand written letter sent to me in 1969 in response to an inquiry I made via his agent. I have the French version of The Journey movie poster as well as some shots of him wearing Balanciaga for a Vogue fashion shoot. His handshake was like a vice!
