if you have single playercommands, look at any block and type

/spawner (name of animal)

IMPORTANT: you MUST capitalize the first letter of the monster spawner you spawn.

@leico2 - This doesn't work with the vanilla SPC. You need to install it in minecraft.jar, just as you did with SPC.

You can just get spawner gui, u just right click on the spawner and you click on the mob you want to spawn out of it. Its a risugami mod! "TYPE IN MOD LOADER ON GOOGLE AND IT'LL BRING YOU TO HIS FOURMS" then scroll down the page and you'll find it.

FOR VERSION 1.8.1!!! YOU NEED SPC. Press t and type /give 52 (numer of spawners you want). Example: /give 52 1 It will give you 1 spawner.
