nice review..what camera are you using 4 your reviews..also i notice u seem 2 have a issue with the camera shaking..are u using a tripod if not amazon has great deals on em i picked up one for 5$

@mikey2cool sometimes I set it on a book or something, but if the table shakes, then the camera might too. I have tripods that I use other times as well. I think it is a Canon 870is powershot. cheers.

@donosborn Thanks man, I really want to brew this beer, but would really like to try it in bottle version first due to skeptic friends (ofc hb is better lol). I'm not sure if you have any access to this beer, but I'm willing to trade anything you desire of VT brew. Im trying to locate you on fb cause it's so much easier for me. Cheers!

@donosborn Don, you mentioned a 'hopback', not sure what this is or even if I'm spelling it correctly. Can you explain it for future reference? I think I'm gonna try wet hopping because it seems popular in your videos. Also, I can't find any local distributers for Pliny the Elder. Where is everyone getting theirs from?

@rocknrollpriest As far as I understand, a hopback is essentially running your boiled, but still hot, wort through hops to extract aroma and I suppose some flavor. You could imitate this I'm guessing by just adding hops to your wort after you turn off the flame and letting them steep. As for Pliny, I have to do trades via the mail with willing beer traders to get it, and other beers that aren't in my area. Cheers.

Thanks Don... Looking at my notes - I used 12oz total wet (no commercial hops): 2oz mash hops, 4oz at 60 min, and 6oz at 5 minutes. I also used WLP041 - Pacific Ale Yeast.

@keithwell No commercial hops?! I'm surprised it got the bitterness that it did. That is good. Makes me think my hops are just weak or something. It came out nice. Next year you can up the ante. :)
