I wish I could find the entire sketch or whatever you call it. This is just a bit of it. It remains one of the funniest things I've ever seen! Charles Barkley going one on one with Barney the Dinosaur. I remember watching it when it was first on.
this was the first clip from the SNL season of 93-94.Barkley was the host and it was written by Jay Mohr.It was his first skit written by Jay but was basically chopped up by Al Franken who was head writer. Originally Charles was going to knee Barney in the groin but Al didnt think that was funny.
i remember being fuckin pissed when i saw this! i was four years old. this made me hate barkley temporarily. i know, ur thinking what was a 4 year old doing watching snl. i was watchin with my parents lol. but yea i rememeber this and almost crying.
I never knew there was such a strong demand for this video and that other people remembered it so fondly like I did. I dug thru my tapes and have posted as much as I had. Sorry for the low audio - but at least you get to see the best part - Barney getting the elbow!

THe odd thing about this clip is that I remember my 5th grade teacher bringing up this bit, and at the time I was so young I had no clue what the hell SNL was. He thought this was hilarious.
It definitely was SNL, but still hoping someday I will come across the uncut version. I was at a function which Sir Charles was at, and even spoke to him about it. I recently watched some video highlights of SNL's top bits, and unfortunately this wasn't in it.

@luomoroc It was also based on Barkley playing Godzilla one on one in a shoe commercial.
