  • I WAS SURPRIZED...THAT IS A VERY VERY NICE BIKE...TIDE SAFE, GET A FULL FACE HELMET...

  • what kind of highway bars do you have? Im looking at getting some.

  • @LordTokamoto

I purchased those highway bars on ebay... they are the SHOW CHROME Highway bars for the Honda Shadow VT750.

  • NIce bike, not sure on all of the other little bits but the pipes and jets are very nice. Makes the bike sound very cool :)

  • Nice shadow!!!!!!

  • Sweet bike man, do you feel its loud enough so that people know where u are on the road?

  • @guitargod445 , yes it is pretty loud, however I can make it even louder if I remove the baffles out of the pipes...I have not heard the sound without them, but I'm sure it will be a lot louder.

  • Nice bike bro, I have a Shadow as well with cobra pipes and it sound like it. Can you tell more about your cruise control like? I think it would be very useful on long trips.

  • @rthonly , the cruise control works good, especially for long trips. Just search ebay for cruise controls and your bike brand name, and you will see many options available out there, mainly depending on the type of bike and grips you have installed, if different from factory items. I recently changed the grips in my bike and had to replace the cruise control with a different style, which is part of the new grip, made by Kuryakin.

  • i want to buy Shadow, could you advice which model i should go for

    Farhan

  • @farzar12345 well it depends on what you really like. There are many models out there, many of them with the same base package in terms of engine and other stuff. It all depends on the looks you like and also in the budget you have. So make sure you take a good look at the models out in the dealership so you can make up your mind in the best style for you.

  • That's a beautiful Shadow. I love the add-ons. Thanks for the look, and ride safe brother. I've got a Vulcan and want to switch to a Shadow Aero this summer. Beautiful bike...

  • @mrdarlin101 Thanks for your comments. If I can help on anything when you get your Shadow, just let me know. Be safe and have fun!

  • @mlopezcarib I have a 06 want to do some upgrades did you order everything from one place and if so is there a way you can get me the info.

  • awesome job, bike looks great and seems really practical for all types of riding

  • Awesome bike, man. I have a 2009 Shadow Aero that I just put Cobra Slashdowns on and I rejetted the carb. You were right on about the additional power and smoother ride. The Cobra Highway Bars, Floorboards, and pegs made for a more comfortable ride. Ride on and be safe out there.

  • good sound

  • Man, great looking bike! Was wondering if you could tell me who makes the saddlebags? They look perfect for it. I recently bought 09 Aero and am having issues on deciding which bags to get. Thanks for the help!

  • @kay773

Thanks, actually I have newer, better looking ones..... Go to Ebay and search for Tourmaster Nylon Cruiser III Saddlebag Large/Slanted. Unless you like leather or leather look more...but these look great ansd are easy to remove for cleaning the bike. Hope this helps. I will try to post a new video soon with some additional stuff I added to the bike.

  • I just bought an '06 VT750, I learned to ride on a Rebel 250, so it was time for an upgrade! This is a great post, I hope I can grab some ideas from u brother, Hoooah!

  • Thanks! Dyno results showed that Horsepower went up from 34.09 to 38.5 and Torque went up from 41.62 to 42.53. Not much change in power but smoother response and somoother ride, specially at high speeds.

  • damn u must have dump atleast 5.5k worth of cold hard cash

  • @jasongc8v ,

Not really. I have been adding upgrades over time and also looking for the best prices available online. The key is not to get desperate. To give you an idea I have more accessories in my bike now that what's in the video and I have spent about half of what you mentioned, or around ($2,500) and of course I saved labor charges by me doing the work. The only thing I paid labor for labor was for the carb rejet and the pipes installation for dyno calibration.

  • Do you have any suggestions for websites for ordering some of the custom parts you have? I especially like the cruise control upgrade? Where did you find that?

  • Check on eBay- Just search for Motorcycle Cruise Control or Throttle Lock. The one I have is the Universal Cruise Control from Kuryakyn model 6218.

  • Very nice Bike! Thats the exact color I like! I am planning on getting one of these soon!

  • Thanks! Cool... good luck... these are awesome bikes... I am hoping to film a new video soon with some updated and additional information.

  • you're my hero...

  • Wow, how much money did you put into the bike, looks awesome!!

  • Very Nice. The pipes sound great. Bike looks great.

  • Thanks for the compliments to my bike...well, first video ever on you tube.... more than a year ago.. plus also a second language for me... I guess you probably could've done worse trying to do this using a second language... LOL ... a new video will be coming sometime soon..

  • Where did you get the side chrome covers been looking for them and no one seems to know. So where do you for info? You Tube.

  • I always check on ebay first... search for VT750 Chrome side covers...you'll get a nice listing of suppliers and different prices for them.

  • Your bike is awesome!!!

  • Thanks... I will post a new video soon...

  • O hey the other thing that you should do to your bike is take off the two stickers that are on the top of the tank. I used a heat gun to take mine off it will make it look a lot nicer.

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • I did take them off... Thanks for the tip it looks better now. I will post a new video soon...

  • Ya man no problem

  • Hey man I have the same exhaust and k&n filter and also rejetted and I like it alot. But I was wondering what type of kuryaukn lights are those and where did you hide the wires?

  • These are Large Kuryakyn Silver Bullets. They only have one cable and the ground is through the frame or highway bars. I drilled the highway bars right next to the lights on each side and also on the inside of the highway bars next to where they connect at the center in front of the radiator. I used the available light kit connector which is inside the headlight to connect the positive cable for the silver bullets. That way you don't have to cut any of the cables to connect them.

  • nice & i love it

  • gracias...

  • Te felicito, tu motocicleta esta en exelentes condiciones y sus modificaciones son de muy buen gusto y de calidad; muy bien...

  • Do you know what number of jet you used from the jet kit?

  • The one I used is the Cobra Jet kit # 92-1263 for 2004-2008 Honda VT750 Aero. Should work with Cobra Streetrod and Cobra Boulevard exhaust systems.

  • My first bike, Honda shadow 750, I had no motorcycle experience what so ever, I did drop it a few times in the beginning, nothing major. I love this bike, though I sometimes feel that I might be pushing the engine when Im traveling at 80mph, what do you think?

  • Have you done any modifications to your bike? any changes in the pipes or the carb jets? Anyway I do not think that riding at 80mph will do any harm at all. Not even 90mph. At 100 mph you are definitely pushing it, and definitely not safe. By the way Honda does recommend a different spark plug (is in the manual) for high speed long distance riding. If you cannot find that in your manual, let me know at I'll let you know. Good luck.

  • I love riding my honda shadow 2008, nice bike by the way, love the video

  • Thanks!

  • very good!!! it sounds good I'm thinking on getting my exhaust for mine!

  • Thanks!

  • what saddlebags are those? have you ever put a laptop in them? Also, how'd you do the Running lights?

  • Very Nice..sounds good too! You can check out my vids of my Custom Honda Shadow 750 Spirit/Ace/Aero.

    Take Care
