  • Wow...I dont know how I stumbled across this but thanks for posting...A lot of good memories and songs in here.

  • Sitting here life in shambles faith shakey peace no where to be found. And i find this group on here. Seen a concert similar to this in Spartanburg Sc summer of 1991 in Spartanburg. I remember I remember at this time what peace i had in my life. A 19 year old homeless girl(me) God stepped into my life and placed me a Christian maternity home. Where i learned the love of God and the peace of living a christian life. This was one of many concerts i enjoyed in those days. I realized God is here

  • Wow, what voices! I used to listen to these guys when I was younger. In fact, as a soloist myself I've done a lot of their songs. Contemporary Christian meets Chicago. Didn't know about the Point of Grace and 4Him ties. Just fantastic. God bless you for posting this fabulous concert video.

  • Classic Truth with 4 HIM and Alecia.

  • 70ps.com on facebook wants to know how many top 40 gospel songs do you remember. Thank God for brother John back then and Big Jim.....

  • Can you put up Songs that answer Questions. Would you believe and songs like that really inspired me in the 1970's. The 70ps dot com was asking us how many gospel songs we remember from the 1970's. Jesus Christ Super Star,Godspell etc. but the real thing was you guys....Praise the Lord!

  • You know listening to this...especially "Where there is Faith"...Truth was the "training grounds" for many Christian artists/groups. As someone who has grown up with parent working in Christian radio for over 30 years it's sad that there is nothing like this anymore.

  • Does anyone have the original recording of "Spirit of David"?? I have been trying to find the full song for a while. Thanks!!

  • Thanks for posting this. I have a cassette copy, but have NEVER seen the video version. THANKS VERY MUCH! :)

  • Does anyone have their Nothin' But album? My high school group did so many of those tunes back in the 80's I'd love to get a copy.

  • @jigsahw Send me your e-mail. I'll send you the link for download.

  • I do not why I put the word not in. I know she joined POG and when she joined. Her husband Dana actually joined before she did. I got to know Dana back in 1989. The one in this video in the red dress is Mark's wife Jody. You stated that you thought this was Anne, which I gues you meant Leigh.

  • also copied from Wikipedia re Leigh Cappillino (I was wrong-she is not in this video )..and now Pt of Grace)She joined the Truth in the early 1990s. She recorded 3 albums with them. After leaving Truth, she formed a duo with fellow Truth member Karen Childers, named KarenLeigh. ....Cappillino was a featured worship leader in Women of Faith conferences, singing alongside many well-known speakers and authors such as Sheila Walsh and Luci Swindoll. ..

  • also copied from Wikipedia: Cappillino married her husband Dana on March 7, 1992. They have one daughter, Darby Mae, born December 7, 2002. [4] Dana has played guitar for Point of Grace since 1998 and acts as the group's road manager as well as their band leader.

  • The one in the red is Jody Harris. She married Mark. Dana's wife, Leigh, who is not with Point of Grace did not sing with Truth until after this group.

  • @FourCalvary copied from Wikipedia:

Robin Leigh Darby Cappillino (born April 18, 1969) is one-third of the Contemporary Christian music group Point of Grace. She joined the then-quartet in 2004, after founding member Terry Jones announced her retirement from the group. Since joining the group, she has recorded three albums and been on several nationwide tours. She has also won, along with Point of Grace, 5 Dove Awards.....

  • Thanks for posting this! I believe the gal in the red dress is Anne Cappalino (sp?) who is now with Point of Grace. Roger is now at University of Mobile..check out the Voices of Mobile for that Truth sound! Also- Roger and his sons were considering a Truth tour at the end of 2011...schedule to be announced...May God bless Roger & his family and all of those in Truth!

  • I've been following Truth since 1974. This particular group was my favorite of all of the musicians who ever worked with Roger Breland. This must be one of the last videos of the team together before 4Him broke out in 1991, and Alicia went solo. Thank you to Breland, and all of the women and men who ever toured as the finest Christian ensemble ever.
