Thanks for uploading this. I was surprised to find it a very balanced view of the events leading up to the Spanish Civil War, not presenting the Republic as some kind of utopian democracy or the Nationalists as demons either.

Thank you for uploading this brilliant documentary. As they say, they don't make them like this anymore. What are the chances of ITV showing a documentary like this about the Spanish Civil War nowadays? Not much - they'd probably show Britain's Got Talent instead. Britain has little talent compared to the millions of brave Spaniards who laid down their lives in the name of revolution.

Thank you so much. We are Americans living in Andalucia - some mornings at the local cafe we chat with men and women in their 80s who clearly remember the war. Your videos help us feel less ignorant about the topic.

Estupendously good.

I am ex=pat living in Spain. Not much is spoken about the war. These videos have been an enormous education 4 me personally. This is the best documentary series i have seen on youtube.
