well 8 million copies of a game that's 60 bucks would translate to 480million dollars. that's not bad imo, even though MW3 made $775 million on release day, its still good for someone trying to bring some competition to CoD. be interesting to see though how many kids traded in MW3 for BF3 after a few days though lol.

bf dlc= 10 new weapons, 3 new vehicles, 1 new gamemode, not to mention 4 fan favorite maps and more destructionable environments

BF2 sold about 4 million copies, thats reasonable, last REAL data was collected in 2006, and it was at about 2.25 million copies.
BF3 will probably wrap it at about 15 million looking at the pace of the sales, next BF game might actually get some beef at COD...

The COD franchise went mainstream when Black Ops was released, the samething with the Battlefield franchise, when Battlefield 3 was announced it gradually approached to the mainstream road. I am sorry but the campaign in bf3 was a disgrace, they said they are not gonna pull ca cod campaign but they did ... it was just like black ops. the cod campaign wasn't memorable but it was action packed, and in that regard its hard to say bf3 is better than mw3,considering the other guys are still trying to catch up with the multiplayer part ... that being said skyrim kicks both their asses , I just wish I could play with 10 friends and unleash hell gta4 stile, still hoping for a mod

when people argue about cod and bf its just silly. not everyone has the same taste of gameplay.. for instance i love the old style resident evil games, a lot of people didnt though due to the slower pace of it and awkward camera angles, but thats what i loved about them!.. just play your favourites, turn off your brain for a few hours with some buds and sip on a brewski. nuff said
