My Irish ancestors where kicked out of Ireland by The Brits. So the Four Brothers moved to America. They were the Bryson clan, and in North Carolina there is a town called Bryson City. And it turns out they named it after my ancestors.

Yes. Thats why the gaelic spoken in Scotland is now of the Godelic strain rather than the Brythonic strain (similar to Welsh, Cornish, Devonian) that was there before.
