None of the actors in the clip speak Krio in the video, even those who are native speakers - it is all dubbed over into Krio. Ideally we would have had an all Sierra Leone cast but the cost of production would have prevented it being made at all. We had to make do with the resources we had. No offense was intended.
If there is a white person in a film in krio, (or Mende, or Temne) they should have to actually learn the language, or at least their lines. It better respects Sierra Leone's culture--its open to everyone, but if you should choose to engage it you must respect its customs, none of which are more important than its native language.
