  • Great phrasing there!

    Big up!

  • Where's this dvd/vhs/Beta/laserdisk/whatever... available?!!

  • Splendid! It was the full Japan concert , which contained 11 songs / Cmadd9 posted 8 of them. Could somebody upload the rest - 3 songs , then I'll be happy and will ready to die because nothing else on Earth will bother me.

  • Wow what a great duo. This song is one of my faces

  • Beautiful duets of high accomplishments, Mr. Klugh, Mr. Benson, respective great musicians, God bless them to continue the wonderful music for the ears, and thank God for Guitars, my father plays guitar and it will always be etched in my heart and soul ....

  • "I'm guaranteed pussy playing this tune!!!!"

  • george..u really knock me out !!!

  • I love rap and rock and every types of music but this by far has to be the best.

  • great..while having a breakfast here in EUROPE! Lovoly MUSIC! Thanks.

  • Now it hits me why the mornings are more beautiful 20 years ago - the radio was playing this song a lot then. What ever happened to our music?

    Thanks for up-ing this vid:)

  • OH, to only play half as good as either of these guys

  • I close my eyes listening to the tunes, so I may communicate to the melody.

  • this is what i call hardcore!

  • It's like magic!

  • superb song . wow wtf happened in 2 decades???? i just dont relate to today AT ALL and i know its not just because im an old get ,if music is a gauge of how we doin then we are f*****.

  • wow - compared to almost everything they force us to listen to today

  • Enjoy it, once in a lifetime.

  • Once a lifetime, enjoy this musical century and this beautiful moment.

  • ...this more than a treat! Thanks!

  • their collaboration album is just thebest

  • luv it

  • One of my all time favorite songs. And such a great collab with Benson and Klugh. Klugh was on one when he composed this.

  • Ones of the great african-american with talents. Not just undeveloped apes hip hop!

  • @balloydspiritsoul i think that your tolerance is undeveoped

  • @balloydspiritsoul i think that your tolerance is undeveloped

please talk about things you do know

  • @lintouchable exactly!!

  • @balloydspiritsoul I wouldn't call Hip Hop artists apes, but GHETTO-ASS is surely more fitting...

  • @TheTranslator100 : Hahahahahah! Very accurate!

  • @balloydspiritsoul you are an undeveloped ape...the core of hip hop is as pure as it gets. thats why tupac and j.cole sampled this (and other) incredible tune(s)

  • @purplefonch : really? hahahaha! that's your opinion. hip hop now adays don't last so long! Not even goin to be claasic.

  • 1st time i saw GB was in 1972 during the CTI/Kudu years. He burnt the stage down almost...killer bebop guitar. Best since Pat Martino & Wes Montgomery. Saw Earl Klugh in 1982...what a nice guy. Most kids today don't have the attention span to appreciate this type of improvisation but i can't get enough of it.

  • Both players Earl Klugh and George Benson has a unique style of their own. The lifetime achievement award is long overdue for them. Both players are Amazing!!! In playing the guitar. Thanks for posting.

  • The best song for me from either Earl Klugh or George Benson. Beautiful melody strutting stuff, So glad I have this on vinyl by both guitarists.

  • Living inside this Song

  • @7LFukur no doubt bro!!

  • @7LFukur ABOSUTLY

  • George didn't need the plastic surgery, he was good-looking at this time! But fortunately his guitar playing is still amazing, it hasn't changed.

  • This is so awesome! It brings back so many memories. I remember seeing Earl Klugh at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano back in the 80's. He was so good. What I would do to have that night one more time......

  • Música Maaaaaaaravilhosa.

  • Luv George Benson, he's so soulful....I remember anxiously awaiting the moment to see George at a summer Jazz Fest and the other George Benson came up. Man!!! cant tell you how disappointed I was.

  • I actually have tears coming down from this !!!!!wow just too much to take!!!

  • wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • i watch this video at least twice a day and every time @1:24 it kills me to watch george make a mistake... there must have been some kryptonite on that stage

  • @xXironraiderXx - I know, it's very rare for George Benson to make a mistake. I agree, there must have been some Kryptonite on the stage.

  • @xXironraiderXx Joe Pass used to say " Don't be afraid to mess up, we're not robots...if you make a mistake make up for it by what you play afterwards".

  • @xXironraiderXx how was 1:24 a mistake?? so soulful!

  • @purplefonch you can tell he meant to play the pull off from A to G.. don't get me wrong it still sounds great and if i weren't watching his expression and gestures you would think it was intentional

  • Listening to the both of them playing is the best therapy for the wearied soul!

  • Thanks!!!!!!!

  • formidável essa musica, é um som incrível, que soa tão bem aos ouvidos.

    Muito bom!

    cuz of the mainstream

  • @jhbdfbksdhgfjldsnglg dont say that..

  • @jhbdfbksdhgfjldsnglg haters gonna hate

  • woohooooo..awesome

  • I would like to see Mr Benson, Mr Klugh, Mr Eric Clapton and BB King on stage together...maybe Fourplay with them as well, with George Duke on Piano....and Kurk Whalum to make the band complete...now dat would blow up a stage

  • @Mannyboy1983 Don't think Duke would be there if Bob James is there.

  • @Mannyboy1983 The BB King "King Biscuit Hour" CD has BB on stage with George Benson in 1977.

  • Can ya'll imagine Earl Klugh, George Benson and Jonathon Butler performing on stage together. OMG!!!! I believe that stage would explode! Talk about a DREAM performance!!

  • Thumbs up...voted for all comments...great music..saw Benson live,B/mingham NEC...brought the house down...it was like someone put one of his cd s on...London Philharmonic backing....unforgettable night!

  • am livin inside ur guitars.....awesome

  • Truly a classic, Thank U

  • Your both are terrific! in this piece.George' vocal in this song was dynamtic! Live in Japan made it more real. Thanx for playing this tune it remind back in the day.

  • awesome team!

  • Two geniuses working a Klugh classic. Brillant.

  • i'm flying!

  • Earl Klugh and George Benson the 2great jazz guitarists together...Talk about chemistry & harmony.

These 2 got it . A joy to hear and see.

  • Two different styles , but both are amazing! Thanks to these two best artists on the planet earth.

  • Earl Klugh composed a beautiful song but I'm very thankful that the groovy George Benson found interest to pump some jammin' life into this song. I adore Earl's original version but right next to it in the upper level to hear is the amazing version from GB. In no way am I dismissing the original Earl Klugh version but yes I did mistakenly hear GB's version 1st. Earl is one of my favorite guitarists because he's so humble. It's cat's like me that challenges him to keep it lol. Forgive me EK

  • what a sensual song. damn! top shelf this version..

  • THANK YOU!!!!

  • Is it me; or, why is it, you never see George Benson and Carl Weathers at a party at the same time??? Hmm

  • Comment removed

  • probably because they don't invite lowlifes like you idiot.

  • Ha ha. What distinguishes George Benson from Carl Weathers, is GB's awesome guitar playing & incredible singing....whereas Carl Weathers is a fierce dynamite actor and ex-football player. There's a song upload I heard on you tube last year that features Carl singing an upbeat soul/r&b/funk song. It was a surprise!! He sounds pretty damn good as a singer!!!!

  • que buena onda esto me late un chingo

  • What a treat! Thanks so much! ^.^

  • putz. foda! Great!

  • "cminor7add9th,

Thanks for taking the time to share this video clip!

It brins back memories of one of the most wonderful, uplifting concerts I've attended.

It reminds me of the concert I attended in which George and Earl performed at the Academy of Music together, with an orchestra to back them up on some tunes.

That occured before I met my wife who has never seen them live.

I intend to offer these George and Earl video clips for my wife and children to enjoy.

    What great music!

  • George Benson and Earl Klugh have always been among my most favored Guitarists and Jazz Guitarists. I've witness their duet concert when they were in Philadelphia, PA, USA, at the Academy of Music, among the greatest acoustically balanced concert halls and among the greatest places to hear beautiful music. I've attended numerous Earl Klugh and George Benson concerts.

Jimmy Bruno, Wes Montgomery, Jimmy Rainey, Herb Ellis, Tal Farlow, Barney Kessel, Johnny Smith are among my favorites.

  • I like how Benson listened to Klugh play for a few seconds first at 1:42 ...That shows taste and overall compliments to the melody of the song.

  • One Word " Awesome"

  • Very very good. Thank you for post it!

  • I'm always a little disappointed because I've never seen Benson perform any songs from his "Livin' Inside Your Love" album because I think it's one of his best. This track and "Prelude to Fall" are 2 of the prettiest instrumentals he ever did (I love Klugh's version of it too, I know he wrote it so technically it's his song and his solo at the end of Benson's version is kick ass)

  • Is this available on DVD? This ROCKS!!

  • How can I get this dvd?

  • dit nummer is vet ja

  • WOW! Thanks for the post. Two of the best ever. Smooth, tasteful and perfectly executed. Went to see George Benson in Cincy, late eighties. One of the best concerts from a wonderful musician.

  • Great Album , Great Collaboration, Timeless Works, Gifted and Talented MUSICIANS

  • what a classic from this two great jazz players!it brings me back good memories of the early 80's

  • Two masters of steel and nylon Guitars! What a treat! Thanks for posting...
