Do you know how a person would go about doing a color photo, making photo Sepia, but alos adding color spot ? For example.... wedding photo thats color, but you want the entire photo to have a Sepia effect, but the flowers still remain in red. I cannot find any info on this .
Wow! You actually managed to come up with the same joke like some other guy 8 months before. I hereby give you the award for being the most creative troll.
i had the same problem :( but :) i worked it out a sec ago go onto dilouges at the top and then click on layers x hope u understand if not mail me back x x
Wow, hehe, this'll help me! I used to just get the blue and smidge it, but this is a lot better. I'm saving this to my favourites so I can come back to it. I'm quite forgetful at times :/
Your tutorials are great and easy to comprehend and follow. You should upload your tutorials to Metacafe dot com and submit them to producer rewards on that site. They pay upwards of 200-300 dollars or more for tutorials they dig. Razor got paid around 300 some odd dollars for showing how to erase scratches from a disk with Brasso metal cleaner.
You can take away those spots where it isn't supposed to b/w by getting the selection tool then pressing subtract from selection, the select the parts, and the will be removed from the selection.
There is also another way to do this. You could select the part that you want b/w, then got to Layer > Colors > Desturate. I find it easier that way...
If that was sloppy I wonder how you would describe mine -.-"

Another way to do this is use the quick mask and then erase anything you want to keep, invert the selection, then desaturate it.
But this was still a very good tutorial,
Thanks

how would you make everything BUT the man black and white?
lynzee2112 3 years ago
U probably figured it out already but in order to make everything else black and white: After making your selection just press-Ctrl+I
this inverts your selection so that you can alter everything outside the original selection
