  • the other person is like master Wong has kidnapped him :D

  • @nileppezdude I'll see you on to the next exercise!

  • im gettin da hang of this

  • We go do dis ... togeder he's a raw teacher dow wing chun

  • I like how he sounds like german and chinese at the same time. "At the zame time" " we go do dis togeder ". I love this guy! ( NoHomo ) LMAO ( No racism )

  • epic shoes

  • yeeah i love JET LI omg im a fan :D of jet li he is so faster omg!!!

he is not human!! lol xD

  • my booty

  • rely good exercise love it, i love martial art yeah...

  • to be blunt there's no such thing as a gunk fu punch, karate punch boxing punch ..etc. just a punch. u'll know weather it's correct or not if it works. all styles just approach the basics differently according to the how the style's creator considered it best. in the end all martial arts will look the same in a real situation. and i'm not just saying fist fights i mean in real situations ( where u use palms. fists , claws, kicks...everything necessary). at least that's my opinion:)

  • what if people make fun of me for trying to learn if they see me?

  • what if he throws a punch directly in your nose? you cant block from inside

  • @UnoixTV hes showing you ever possiblity, you can use tan sao inside or outside, but you never know what situation you will be in, so you practice from every angle.

  • This blocking movement is not natural and difficult to make at a high speed.

  • @AndreiYudin70 don't take any style for granted...this just ilustrates principals, not specific moves on "what should u do if...."..if u're looking for a style which will tell you what to do in each situation u'll be deeply dissapointed...these are general movemens which help u to be familiar with the idea of blocking, ..in a real fight u're fully instinctual, these exercises just help you respond correctly when that time comes, in ur own way. in martial arts u apply skill not moves.:)

  • @whitetigerfist If it were so,we would use just swinging hooks as to hand hits in a real fight. But punches, that's direct hand hits, are much more rapid and difficult to escape.A man who has learnt to hit with punches is much more prepared for a real fight than a man with sponateous swinging hooks. The same is worth for defense, blocking etc.

  • @AndreiYudin70 for such things you have a different way of training....don't think sparring is left out for example...as i said ..these are basics...even wing chun takes up punching bags . Anyone who is serious in MA must also prepare individualy. Take shaolin for instance. u see them do forms . but u see them hit bags aswell. and u will also see them sparring or do sparring drills.

  • @whitetigerfist I never heard that wing chun was created by a woman. It must be just a legend.Yes,there are the boxing punch.the karate punch and wing chun punches wich differ from each other.wing chun has its own advantages as compared to karate and kickboxing and its weak points as compared to boxing.

  • @nileppezdude "pa-Chic-ular"

  • Hi m8 I think ur wing chun Kung Fu is really cool! Been trying it myself the last few havnt got a partner though but still doin all the actions can't quite get the hang of the turning lol it would be really cool if I could train with you purely because I'm a great martial arts fan got loads of DVDs ie jet li n Bruce Lee n so on I wish u could come to the united kingdom sometime :)

  • @Jay1991Man what are u talkin about? there's lots of wing chun schools in uk to choose from..

  • @Jay1991Man The turning and getting the moves exactly right is a bit difficult, but you'll get the hang of it, after practicing the punch block technique after a year, it came in handy when some dude threw a random punch at me and it proteced my face from becoming mince meat.

  • Awesome! Keep up the good work! It's much appreciated.

  • Thank you sifu wong for being generous enough to teach many aspects of your wing chun & yang style taiji quan systems for free. It is very much appreciated by many people around the world, whom don't have wing chun schools to train in locally. 谢谢你

  • Thx Sifu Wong for your lessons :)

  • hey Master thanks for uploading wing chun videos i have seen ALL! of ur vids i hope i can be like you!!Muhyiddin Singapore~Respect~

  • Master Wong is it possible for a heavy person to begin training and learning this. It's good for weight and discipline and things. Please return to me about what you think is good or bad when it comes to heavy people and martial arts :) spmankid21 reply to me and ill give you my email :D

  • - So funny!

  • Hahas i'm Singaporean too=Di stay in cck,is there anyplace for

    Boxing?please reply me

    Thanks

  • @freakie124 sorry not sure leh... can't help you coz i don't really go there... sorry...

  • Isn't it also be used to block the same hand of the opponent as yours? Like Left with the left and right with the right?? I think the opponent can strike you quickly with his other hand while you use this to block his one hand.

But if you block left with left hand and right with the right, the opponent can't strike with his other hand.

I have tried this and found it better than what Master Wong is teaching. The only problem is that it is more difficult to do.

  • @DIMSKK If he does try to strike you with his other hand you can just re-block in the same way. and if you know your opponent is going to try to hit you quickly with the other hand, you could just block on the out side instead of using the inside block.

  • i am singaporean and i stay in pasir ris i nid a partner

  • hey i am a singaporean too!

  • @Jatgiuac haha it ok lol finding a partner so hard sia

  • @TheDarkDevilz Ya Loh... But If some day i am free already, I will tell you one... Dun worry... ^_^

  • Me too, I think, it's good, that you're doing this, but I recommend to train with a teacher, who can practise with you and show you, what you're doing wrong.

P.S.: Keep the thumb next to your other fingers, if there's an unexpected movement, or you haven't reached full control of your body, it might get broken ;)

  • I really admire you, and the way you give lesson it's very good to understand.

Tyvm I practice your Wing Chun every day. :)

  • Excellent! Like in Ipman movie...!

  • this is tan sao

  • This application becomes very difficult with a fast combination apponent. the shifting of the body is not as fast as the punches, thrown in rapid repetitions. I don't see how you can block any straight head 2or 3 punch combinations. Please reply.

  • Are you serious? This is a basic lesson-- look at the more advanced sections for that problem. The ability of a WC practicioner to divert combinations is very functional. Don't look at a basic exersize with so much doubt. These are the preparatory exersizes; groundwork of the system.

  • haha..u noticed dat...

  • how to block hooks and uppercuts in wing chun?

  • its pretty easy to block hooks.works pretty similar as the block in this video. but there is not much about uppercuts as far as i know.

  • you use a fook sau to block an uppercut. pretty much the blocking hand forms the outer side of a triangle. watch more lessons and you will see master wong use the word "cover" for fook sau.

  • you use a fook sau to block an uppercut. pretty much the blocking hand forms the outer side of a triangle. watch more lessons and you will see master wong use the word "cut down" for fook sau.

  • i believe that if you get away and you do a Tan Sao then you can block the uppercat. also uppercuts work for very close combat, which means that on that distance you have to attack first!!!

  • You would probably use a low block.

  • great master. thank you.

  • Almost no one in the world can break it down so simple as this man and imagine at one time he was made fun of because of his lack of english but still I do no anyone that can break it down so simplely to help you learn quickly with totally clear insight as this man

    he is a great teacher

  • true true

  • Wing Chun Coolll

  • um master Wong , what about lover strikes to the stomach ?

  • You haven't gotten that far yet, but it's either Gan Sau or Gum Sau

  • inside: block: tan- sao

    outside grab: lap- sao

    (without grabbing: pak- sao)

  • undisputably the best source to learn wing chun on the net

  • Comment removed

  • Funny that you can't spell "this," form a contraction with "guy's," or spell "hilarious." Perhaps you should make sure your English is straight before ridiculing someone else? Just a thought...

  • thanks master

  • You really like the word "particular"

  • i thought it was parchicoolar

  • i'm gonna master Wing chun.

  • i like your videos and premote that u make more they are describive and easy to understand

ima 15 and ima Wing Chun fighter but i have no relevant master i also studie other martial arts and i read alot of philosophies to make use of my time and maximize my wing chun and jeet kune do

i read alot of bruce lee philosophies and ithink they are very deep and relevant.

    ty again

  • he calls it an inside block because you are blocking on the inside of the punch. not because you'r blocking "inward"

  • Thank you for your videos Master Wong ;)
