Before everyone starts yelling at me I am a huge Armored Core fan but the problem that most people might have with this game is that the community may be to small for this type of multiplayer... Don't get me wrong its a great Idea but your going to need a big community and that is probably the only complaint I have

Nor did i say whether or not they were well-implemented. Regardless of how you feel, chromehounds was an experiment, and I have doubts of From turning it into a full franchise seeing as its overall sales were pretty lackluster. In regards to your original comment, have you seen videos for ACV's emblem editor?

I loved chrome hounds, though the online was plagued by noobs just spamming the same cannons and what not... I loved the game, and I've been a longtime fan of armored core.

Blending the two together will be... Incredible.

While I miss Chromehounds as well, we at least have something to look forward to in AC V's multiplayer. Though admittedly I really wish they did go further with Chromehounds and how it fit into the overall AC universe.

They're supposed to be giant mechs yet they look like they weigh nothing. They should be causing earthquakes when they land and shit.

Ahaha I played chrome hounds before but that pales into AC, chrome hounds was very realistic and had strategy which I liked but the action was very mundane, but in AC it's got it all now the new commander role will add a lot more strategy to the game, can't wait to see everyones mechas! They tried it once. Games as fast paced as Armored Core are very difficult to play in first person mode. Almost no one cared for it or used it. If more people liked first person view they might bring it back but they won't if it remains unpopular.

I don't get people. If a critic says the graphics are bad, they complain to reviewers "Oh the graphics don't matter" but if they see a game tey are really picky with the graphics. Yes, they're not good, but IMO that's all that's really holding the game back... Technical aspects.

Armored Core can never have good graphics. The consoles can't handle all of the action and destruction going on and already suffer frame rate issues when two really good players are wrecking each other. When you have dozens of bullets, hundreds of missiles, and a handful of collapsing buildings the consoles just can't keep up. Something has to give, and that's the graphics. Maybe next gen consoles will be able to keep up with Armored Core. It's been this way since the PS2 days.
