Yeah I agree. I went on this before I went to dreamworld and when I saw the Mick doohan ride I didn't even bother going on it cause it looked sooooo slow compared to jet rescue.
this is actually alot faster then the mick doohan coaster, jet rescue is a double hydrolic boosted roller coaster compared to the 1 boost at doohan. jet rescue goes 75km an hr at start and goes up to 80km thru the cave. doohan's just rolls round the track
It's 72km/h on Motocoaster and 70km/h on Jet Rescue, so there is no real difference.
Anyhow, the big difference is that the turns and transitions are sharper on Jet Resuce than Motocoaster. So instead of cruising around wide and boring turns, you are being whipped around tight turns with stronger Gs.
oh i hurt my back so bad on this, sure it looks like a tame but dont do what I did and stick you arms up in the air, hold onto the handles. I couldnt pull mine down because of all the twists and turns and I got slammed sideways because i didnt bend into the curves lol it was funny but it hurt a lot! and yes it does look faster than what youd expect. it is awesome for the stomach feeling... it broke down halfway through the day. the lines werent too bad either, took us 15-20 mins to get on.
