I remember the first time i sent engineers into a subteranean APC and hijacked my enemys construction yard and had a laser prebuilt simply waiting to be placed so it was at my disposal immediately... (actually now that i think about it i started that techniqueTHIS year but other than the laser thing its an 8 or so old strategy), then my devils tongues protected the gdi construction yard then i combined forces from gdi and nod and crushed the other armies... it felt AMAZING!!! oh the nostalgia!

Well, Nod does have 'strange' units. They have the most unique blend of new technology and old relics in tiberium dawn. In Renegade they have amazing technology, which is never really seen in the Tiberium Universe ever again. Renegade is technically canonical, but most of the tech doesn't seem to be.
