WOW... I think it is great and i also like how a kid is playing a song that was well before his time. Though i was born in 76 and i realy grew up to the 80s music, classic rock like Bad Company is my altime fav band, aside from Def Leppard. LONG LIVE THE SEVENTIES
Hi Guys, I managed to load your music onto my desk and had great fun playing along with you. I added some vocals and bass and did my best with the lead guitar (not really a lead player) I could e mail it to you, it was great fun jamming with you from across the ocean.
As I've said on several of your videos, you guys sound great. But here's a challenge for you. Try doing a cover of Steely Dan's "Don't Take Me Alive". That song has the best lead guitar intro of any tune I can think of. As it turns out, there's a youtube video with close ups of how to play it. Good luck!
that was great! all that was needed was a singer & another guitar to do the short lead part. but even w/out those, it was so good, i'd love to use it while i do lead & sing someday(hopefully!). this is the best cover i've heard, even comparing it to the more complete setups. love the sound of your guitar playing & the drums. thanx for sharing. 5 stars!
hello, thanks so much for watching and your kind post is very appreciated! I hope you are enjoying your music these days and i wish you all the best! Thanks for the rating,
Dale, this is really nice. I like that you guys just play a normal version of everything you do. I hate when people overplay something. Been having fun jamming my 290 along to your videos. Collings guitars sound good together. Thanks for the simplified lessons you put up and any more you would feel like doing to some of your other covers would be greatly appreciated.
thanks so much for your kind feedback.........your comments mean a great deal and are sure appreciated! Great to hear you are enjoying your 290 - i think they are KILLER guitars. What color is yours and what do you run it through? Thanks for the suggestion and if there is a tune you'd recommend i love to hear......all the best sir,
That amp sounds amazing!!! What brand speaker do you have in it ? Is it the 10 or 12, ceramic or alnico?
I have the PRRI that I LOVE I'm thinking of eventually getting a lil king to replace it, only because its hand built, 10 yr warranty and I can get it in blonde/oxblood.
Absolutely awesome! Was thinking of covering this one on the drums. Not going to be able to compete with this extremely tight cover, but should be fun trying. Great sound with guitar also! Rock on fellas!
hello, sure appreciate you watching and thanks for the kind words! This is a great tune for sure.....if you post a video please shoot it our way! All the best,
Not only does your guitar sound great (I am in the process of acquiring a Lil' King myself) but Tyler is an amazing drummer! What talent is displayed in this video!
oh i'm glad to hear you are getting the Lil' King, man do i love this amp! I'd love to hear about yours.......i hope you love it!! Thanks for your very kind words and for giving this a listen......all the best,
I'll be sure to keep your updated. Do you ever use any pedals with your lil' King? I'll be using a custom shop strat and custom 335. Just wondering if you ever add an OCD or anything.
hello Ken, thanks for watching! Sure appciate the kind feedback on the guitar sound, when i can push this amp i really like what it does. If i could play at this volume all the time i don't think i'd ever use pedals.......all the best,
you are very kind sir.....we sure appreciate you taking your time to watch! You know we've thought about that great tune....thanks for the suggestion!
u guys r great. i just turned closed my eyes and listened and you guys r so tight. so close to the original. very good. how long do u practice this stuff together before u make a vid?
Very nice, its great to see parents and thier young ones making music together. I've been blessed with a daughter that loves music as much as I do and we play in church. BTW, nice axe you got there, I've got a '76 LP tandard and I would like to trade it for a hollowbody.
sure appreciate your words of wisdom! Tyle and i played in church this past Sunday and at times it hit me just how cool and special it was! I'm happy to hear about your daughter!! Sure appreciate you watching and thanks for the encouagement........hope you find the perfect hollowboyd one of these days......love to hear if you do!
great job, your boy has grown since the earlier videos. It's interesting that the kids who play music, take to the seventies tunes. My boy plays bass and I hear him playing led Zepplin, Santana, and Eagles to name a few, along with the modern tunes.
it is interesting......so many young people are into the classic rock tunes i grew up with. I thought a lot about it and don't know that have the total answer, but one thing is for sure a lot of those old tunes have stood the test of time!
