Same here, my ds wont turn on... it turned on one day and the screen was just plain white, now when it try to turn it on the green light comes on but the screen doesnt light up and then the green light goes off again

This is a good error to have since its easy to fix. The top.screen cable is dislodged from the main board, or the top screen needs replacement (since bottom screen is flashing, this is the error indicator ). Most likely just cable popped out :)
Yeah! The same thing happened with me! I went to the pool and took some pics of me in the water (i didn't put the dsi in the water lolz) and I went home and it charges but doesn't turn on. HELP PEOPLZZZZ!!!!!!! :D
@MyK010401 It is not a battery problem. I have a DS Lite with the exact same symptoms, and i used a charged battery from a fully functional system with no success (the battery is not the problem.)
@bubthork then something is wrong, I've done some research and with this problem it IS the battery, if you still have the problem get a new battery, that is the solution I guarantee

Hey man did you get this sorted? same thing happens to mine.. i think it' something to do with the flat wire connecting the top screen to the motherboard, it could be loose or disconnected. I'm gonna have a go at fixing mine tonight. Let me know, cheers.
@videoguy189 Yeah i tried fixing mine.. The flat wire was slightly loose but i put it in properly and it made no difference. I'm not sure what else i could do.
@videoguy189 Hey did you get the Tri-Wing Scredriver?? if you did Where did you get it?? i need one to open and fix my Nintendo DS because it Powers on the Light turns on but the top and bottom screens are black, and i cant find a Tri-wing Screwdriver anywhere.
@videoguy189 mine did the same thing i opened it up looked in side and tightened every thing when that did not work i pluged i the charger and it stayed on try chargeing it if it is on full charge then plug it in any way and then you can play it thats what i did till i could afford to get a new one
@prt1667 yea I tried turning it on while plugged in, dont even start up, the forums say its cuz of some safety check that it does when it turns on and the top screen isnt connected well to the bottom screen, so it shuts off. Now i gotta open it up and connect it myself
First you wanna proceed to unscrew the back of your DS, im reading this off a forum. And find the LED backing. Then you wanna proceed to onto opening up that backing and straighten out any possible displacement. And then proceed to shove the DS up your ass.

The top screen connector got unplugged u just hav to open it up and plug it in again
May void warranty.
If u don't want to open it u can use it as a game boy by holding abxy and l and r while its powering on.

Most DS Lites problem on "No Power " is the upper LCD, you have replace the upper LCD w/ NEW one! It will turn on!

it IS a battery problem, your battery is broken and won't receive battery charges, so you need to buy a new battery.

Top screen needs to be replaced!! Even if lcd isnt cracked ribbon cable goes thru hinge and often rips! Ive done this repair many times.

Have you tried playing on it while it's plugged in? Also, go find a forum's for DSi's and consult your problem..

Buy a new battery and change it. There is a compartment on the back of it to unscrew it and change iy.. Since was the last time you turned it on?
