Looks well made and definitely worth watching... BUT... Why the HELL is this the same EXACT plot/synopsis as the very first Predator movie? If you have seen Predator, then you will know that this movie is the same damn thing.  The look over the shoulder, the nuke, the ugly creature... the whole thing is the same... damn near. But... since Predator was a fantastic movie when it was first released, I suppose this is a "Predator" homage for a new generation that likes Harry Potter and magic shit.

that was one of the great things about this film . . . the species could have potentially survived, but they were monsters and would only cause harm on earth . . . .

The idea of fighting a spacedragon, in the Viking days of Norway might sound retarded at first. But i loved this movie. Very entertaining, and the effects look awesome, and the music and actors are quite good. If you like Vikingtales of dragonslaying heroes and bravery this is the movie for you :-)

Hate to give a spoiler...but the movie is actually pretty good. Except the historical data which is so wrong , as always these producers are... because the age of viking kings began in late 700 AD and ended around 1000 AD, not in 500 like in the movie script. And a few facts that remain unexplained. Overall it's a good movie but it could have been much better.

Beyond the basic movie image there is a storyline in which the creature and him hunt each other from the original colony out there to Earth. By the way his original space records describe Earth as a Disgarded Seed Planet, so he is like a human from the space future. He also receives data about Viking life using a Matrix like devise into the right eye. His family lies in sealed coffins or frozen containers along with the remains of the ship at the bottom of the lake. Genocide is a theme also.
