set your catalyst 3D settings to high and make another video how shitty it would run. ^^

What are your clocks ? got the card my clock is 800/1010mhz.

I still didn't play skyrim but set your caytalyst 3d settings to high and you get even better quality results like high detailed mountains from distance and stuff.

forget the FXAA ( you don't notice a difference)

lower the resolution to 1280x720

always keep your laptop plugged

remember that this video has FRAPS. So add like 7-8 atleast 7-8 more FPS.

@limpei1 Comon man 5850m is beast in laptop gpu. I bet you can go ultra with some mods with AA and AF maxed.

@limpei1 No I meant your laptop is kind of under performing. I myself have an ATI 5730 I play Skyrim at modified Ultra (keep the view distances option of High settings), textures on high, shadows and decals on high. Yeah and No water option checked, they give the biggest hit to FPS.

I have locked the game to 30 fps and game runs fine. I think you should get the ati performance tweak for skyrim and get new drivers. You configuration is good enough to get max setting @ 30 fps.

turn your shadows to low, shadows are the biggest problem

AA to 2 or 4

with this you can play all other settings on ultra

@Wilczuch I disabled it and now it works fine without turning my screen into weird dots. But I put it at 650/1000 and I barely get 20FPS on High at 1280x720. And at medium 30FPS. How did you get 21 to 40 FPS on Ultra while I barely get 10? I have an i5 460M @ 2.53 GHz. With CCC 10.10
