  • so top fuel is the next class up from this right?

  • The largest differece between the supercharged and injected nitro cars is the speed advantage they have at the end of the track. While less than ten supercharged alcohol dragsters have ever ran in the 5.2 second range it is not uncommon for an injected car to run in the 5.2 if not the 5.1 range. My uncle jim whiteley drives one of the best supercharged cars in the NHRA right now and his best run 5.30 @ 270mph the reining world champ is injected and holds the record with 5.103 @284

  • Actually some dragsters in Top Alcohol runs on nitromethane but without a blower/supercharger. In the end it gives about the same performance.

Top Fuel Dragsters are running on nitromethane AND a blower/supercharger which boosts the dragsters even further.

  • alcohol dragsters run on methyl alcohol and top fuelers run on nitromethane, the name "fuel" stands for nitromethane.

  • What is the actual difference between an "Alcohol" Dragster and a "Fuel" dragster? Is "NOS" involved in this as well?

  • What is the difference in the composition of "Fuel" and "Alcohol" in these high powered dragsters??? Is it like "NOS" at all?

  • Well, Alcohol is fuel, but they call nitro the top fuel. And these dragsters dont use nos at all.

  • yeah those are alcs, but still awesome, see, people are like "Oh shitz G, illegal redline is the shit!!" this is where its at..

  • ahh top fuel cars dont hold revs at the start... they are top alcohol cars still pretty cool

  • Yep, good call - top alc. =)

And yep, still pretty cool!! Nothin' beats seeing it live !

  • I always get goosebumps when I hear the thunderous noise these things make! :x

  • Marty Rathbun, one of Miscavige's top lieutenants for years, left in 2004. Amy Scobee, who held several executive posts, left in 2005.

The four defectors, speaking publicly for the first time, each served more than 25 years in the Sea Org.

"Right, wrong or indifferent, I felt I was doing something for the good of man, and I'll never give that back," said De Vocht, who left in 2005. "But the longer I was in it, it got crazier and crazier as Dave took over."
