Truly inspiring. I continue to learn from the Intense Cool Energetic. The way the pianos are chopped and laced over the bassline sounds maaaad smooth. One!
Please you gotta tell me what is the sample of the last song you were playing, also do you have the final track laid out ? with vocals and all ? get back at me I'm interested in coping that.
who cares what cats use to make whatever...if shit is ill shit is ill...but on the other hand..you cant front on the old sampler sound...theres alot of shit out there...and in alot of cases, a cpu program aint really going to do it for ya...its all in sound preference.
I agree wit you loopwholetube....real talk. That's what I'm tryin to get across. Dude is sayin that real hip hop is made on those machines. Every real producer knows that those machines aren't what make it real. It's the producer themselves. I've heard 9th wonder make shit sound like it was done on a 3000 and he did it all in FL Studio...
So yes you are correct it does not matter what you use it matters how you use what you use. Look at the south right now...usin 808 & 909 to make that pop shit
Extremely nice man. It's refreshing to hear some material that takes me back to why i clung to hip-hop so quickly when I was a kid. Y'all captured that. Keep it goin'. Y'all have my support Fam....
Keepin hip hop alive jus cuz you use a 3000? Pffft...get over yourself lol....like 90% of hip hop was ever made on 3000s lmfao....get a clue...and quik or you'll be the last of the idiots still thinkin in a box....
I was'nt saying that because of the 3000.I was commenting on you using the 3,and because of the music you make,I was sayin that we are keeping real hip hop alive.Clear now?I have a sp 1200 also and yes,90% of real hip hop was made on the sp!
90% of real hip hop was not made on the sp either. real hip hop was created using all platforms. Including the digital...but stay in the box...we need you there....
I like the 3000,sp,60,s 950 and those are the machines real hip hop was made on!I have heard beats off of FL,the 2000,the 1000,I just do not like the sound because they sound light, the older machines have a heavier, warmer sound. That's my opinion, and you have yours, but I'm not an idiot or in a box because I like what I like, that is what you fail to realize.I was saying keeping real hip hop alive because of the type of beats you make, not what you make em on.Understand now?
I completely understand what you are talkin about and you are still wrong. Because of all those pieces of equipment you still didn't even mention the ASR....which goes to show me that you are jus sayin your own personal preference and not fact of what real hip hop is.
@extrahustle It does'nt matter what I say,you are gonna find sumthin to argue about so peace and good luck with that.I am not gonna name every sampler,I was telling u that I have heard dope stuff made off of other samplers,I jusy don't like the sound of them.I LIKE THE OLD SAMPLER SOUND BECAUSE IT IS WARMER.PERIOD.That is all I was saying.I'm sure you wont be satisfied with that though.
I agree, which was the content of my first post, you took it the wrong way.The beat is dope, that's why I commented,I also commented on the 3 because I love the 3,people keeping Hip Hop alive is from the type of beats, and the art form, that's what I was sayin.
You reppin' true hip hop bruh & love it! That beat you came up with is hott! Boom bap for real! Grittiness, lo-fi drums, pianos, horns, bass = CLASSIC HIP HOP!
I like what you said at 2:33, the same as Kev Brown said... This ain't about loopin' up some stuff, it about chopping! Although if you find an obscure loop, it can be good to use. Great vid! Stay up!
I rep and spit my testimony/Being I'm a master of ceremony/Real so if you don't know me/I roll with family and friends if not I'm by my lonely/It's a cold world see/ So I only need a queen to hold me/So catch it when I drop these jewels/
Cause most young bucks drop school/cop a tool and stick for jewels/ Dope beat check me out man peace!

The 3000 samples at 16 bit 44.1khz. The s950 samples at 12 bit 40khz. I think that drums sound grittier on a s950 myself.
