BUFO is not build to beat speed records but as fun craft...

you can in no way compare this to a classic bob windt universal hovercraft due to the fact this machine will never be on the same level. for real hover machines you need to build it your self. and you cant beat chris or bill. see you at worlds

So tell me, If I were to dis obey some vehicle or aquatic vessel law or regulation while on one of these what would they consider it? its not a boat nor a car its like in a class of its own. Also cops probably could not catch ya if u made a swamp getaway into the foggy abiss. true getaway vehicle right here

Hovercraft is a boat, but also amphibian... and cops always find a way to get the people who escape :), I would not recomand you escaping with hovercraft :), escape would be sucessfull, but only temporary...

You can not compare BUFO to hover pod - howpod, it is just like you would compare day to night, BUFO is ofcourse day :)... Price of BUFO is about same as prices of other hovercrafts you find in your country + transport from Europe

Man that looks like alot of fun! My brother and I in highschool made a real frankensten version of a hovercraft at a competition call Odessy of the Mind for Gifted Education. We didnt take it on water just on a gym floor but it was still really fun!

Mate I am jealous, my hovercraft goes about 70km/h down the beach, but doesnt perform anything like yours. Not sure how I can get more lift out of mine. Love your work.

so share the secret :-) my lift fan is a 9 blade hub, 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off. Whats the best angle to have the blades pitched at?

a turbine engine would respond faster,no friction like an airplane and no ground friction at take off,you would just feel instance speed,unlike airplanes at takeoff wich a big part of the energie is used to push the total weight,but this

hehe no energie just the turbine weight.of cours,you would need to protect the skirt,with hyerodinamic shape fabric,like plastic,metal,aluminum etc.,to cancel friction on the skirt.please respond to my idea *madhovercraft* this baby could do more than 1000mph.

Maybe looks so, but have in mind that I have over 100 kg, and almoast 2 meters in height, and hover is only 2m wide, and 3m long, + I still do not have enough of hovercraft experience... + this was my first ride of BUFO ever...
