A Chevelle is a poor mans Cutlass PERIOD. Oldsmobile combined the luxury of a Buick with the speed of a Pontiac. Rocket 350 ate up the chevy small blocks of the day. 327 was the only run for the money.
Thats not a Hurst Olds under any stretch of the imagination. The Only Hurst Oldsmobiles built in 1972 were Indy Pacecars or they came in white. I think one of the TEN Commandments says something about not putting a Chevy engine in a Olds. It has to be some kind of sin!
Yeah but not in any of the musclecars. I had a 1977 Delta 88 with a 350 chevy motor in it and I didnt realize how slow it was until I bought a 1977 98 with a 403 and 400 trans. That car would run circles around the 88. I would have put a Olds motor in that 72 but thats my personal opinion.
yeah i do wish it was a real hurst olds,but if it was a real hurst olds it wouldnt be black,they only came in white in 72,and it wouldnt have a chevy engine in it either.what do you have?

Yeah, Put a Olds motor in it, great idea! You'll spend twice the funds to make it go half as fast as a big block chevy! Nice car with a great motor!
