  • I first saw Lil' Doyle at a Ford Car Lot opening in Dallas and he was with organist Lou Lazar and his dad on drums. You could tell he had it in Spades

  • One of Texas' best; finely renowned writer, guitarist and vocalist. This arrangement says it all.

  • what cd is that on?

  • Been A Long Time

  • Of course they can't pull it off like Muddy could. But hey, Muddy could never do it like this either....

I love me some Muddy, but Doyle is the shit man...

  • arc angels version is better than the muddy waters original :)

  • The Arc Angels do a great version, but Muddy's voice on that orginal is so big and in charge that every cover singer sounds a bit small in comparison.

  • True, but thinking in perspective, of course some Texas white guys with today's technology won't sound exactly like an old black blues guy. I personally dig when bands incorporate their own sound into songs they cover...

  • @nebulas2012 dude when Doyle used to play with his daddy right before Arc Angels got big, they used to play in Dallas. I went and saw em in Deep ellum. Sounded "blacker" than most black dudes. No effects. Just playing old school blues songs.

  • This man makes me wanna pick up my guitar ..Fuck'in Eh!!!! I love ya man

  • amazing Talent!...He's Gotta come to CANADA!

  • killer post. everything the guy does is gold.

  • Awesome song!

  • One of my favourite Doyle Bramhall tracks.. Real meaty blues funk.. Cheers for posting
