  • I'm in my 3rd week of AZ Driving school and today was my first time backing up. It was not easy, but I'm looking forward to doing it right. Good video,

  • No one should have that hard of a time in a day cab. Good learning experience i guess.

  • And then he realised that he forgot to open trailer doors 3:42 WTF???

  • THAT'S WHY I DRIVE A FLATBED.. WE AINT GOT THEM DANG PROBLEMS...LOL

  • BRAVO IETE CE TE LAUDA LUMEA.GREAT JOB.

  • BEAST!!

  • you only get two free pull ups

  • That very easy,,, i can park that using just 1 hand,,, hahaha

  • Nice job but I would tell them to unload out in parking lot.

  • Whoever designed/engineered the docking area that small, inconvienient, unsafe, antiproductive, and that close to a hill should be shot.

  • Well done. I could see you getting a little nervous for a minute there, with your tractor bouncing around, though. Been there. When I encounter really tight docks like that, I will move my rear axles all the way forwad. Makes tight turning a little easier.

  • Alot of these loading docks were built when shorter trailers were used. Big Corp greed will cause more problems in the end.

  • this guy was like now this is going to be fuckin impressive i better record

  • four ways are not on, and it is a day cab.

  • Holy crap. That was impressive.

  • @690160. You're an idiot, all you keep saying is longer trailers are easier to handle than short ones, which is true. But you're missing the point here, which is space to maneuver. I could get this in with my sleeper, but it would be a challenge. I know that I could back into this hole with a pup/yard truck easier than with a 53/sleeper. You must suck at short trailers.

  • WTH?? Do smaller trucks dock on the bays here normally or otherwise this must be a really bad design docking area for artics??

  • tough spot.good job!

  • Who in the world thought up a dock design like that with a ditch on one side and a pile of trash next to it. My goodness. Good driver. Most people would have had to call a wrecker to get out of the ditch.

  • Man, Your frecking awsome. Very Very nice

  • @neemguy81 most diesel trucks have turbo because without it they wouldn't make enough hp to haul trailers, loads etc

  • I have a disagreement with a buddy of mine...I say that most TT's on the road have a turbo. He's saying that nearly none do...I swear that I hear them on the road all the time...the turbo that is. Am I hearing shit...or can he not hear anything at all?

  • @neemguy81 your buddy doesn't know shit... he's a worthless piece of lizard excrement

  • that place is a pain in the ass. took me 20 minutes to get square.

  • I thought that only in our fucking Russia are the entrances to the landings.

    ПрослушатьНа латиницеОценить перевод

  • I wonder how many truckers fall down that mountain when trying to park here :)

  • you are good my friend.

  • I can do that with a sleeper.

  • Thats rediculous they should get rid of the ditch!

  • No disrespect, but this is not that big of a deal.

  • @LT1HILLINGHOE i was just thinking the same thing..I had less space than that with a ditch..poles along the ditch and 2 trailers on either side at a angle with half a dock to bump.. at a ShopRite in NJ...30 mins to get in the hole...the shop rite ppl made me wait 5 hrs cause every guy that came there with a sleeper either tore down the telephone lines..went into a ditch or had to have a Shop rite driver with a day cab hook to their trailer and back it in,,

  • @stevefromPA2

Was the Shoprite you speak of on Rt. 22?

  • @TheTruthHurts732 No I made a mistake..it was Shop Rite of New City New york..off of 304hwy...google maps shoprite of ny...take a look at how u have to sit in the driveway before u even turn for the back of the store..Then look carefully at the middle dock..there should see a blue Tractor with a sleeper...notice the distance between the trailer on the left...Notice the trailers at the first dock that completely block ur vison for the dock, 2 trailers next 2 u..while u got it jacked ur tandems

  • @stevefromPA2 are headed for a Telephone pole, a ditch. and when u start to bring it around there is a steel pole at ur front right steer tire which u cant see...Look at the blue tractor..his trailer end is half on half off the dock..and thats how they unload u..its really sensless...If u come in there with a sleeper and 53ft they make u wait, cause if uve never been there its gonna take u 20 - 30 mins to get ur trailer in..and they are watchin u to see if u hit anything cause so many have...

  • el tipo es un duro

  • look at me dad I'm a super trucker in a day cab what a joke

  • Don't you just love it when the pin- head who works at places like this say "We have drivers park in here all the time with no trouble"....Thats when I hand them the keys and show me how it's done Master Driver!

  • @Ragweed66 when i was hauling cars..there is a Nissan Dealership in Somerset Nj...on rte 22..Every car carrier isnt the same..ramp skids out my tractor was close 85ft long. 22 is a 3 lane highway with drivers doing 60 to 80 mph..you have to come to the dealership on the right stop in the highway , jack ur tractor left across the other 2 lanes stopin highway traffic then back in.. understand that u have the whole dealership entrance 90% blocked..I had a manager tell me he wanted my trailer

  • @Ragweed66 moved over .. and that other trailers had no problem gettin in..so I said to him.. you do it while i sit at ur desk and sell cars...end result...the cops and township complained so much about the inherent danger eventually the dealer ship took only nite delieveries

  • nice

  • i would just refuse to deliver and they can take it up with my shop stewart

  • very difficult to back up

  • well done

  • Its a good thing he is running a day cab, if it was like my 780 with the bunk it would never go in there, they would be bringing there stuff out and loading it with a pallet jack I can tell you that. That dock was built when trailers were 40 feet.

  • The bigger Tractor Trailers are way more easier to back up than the smaller trailers

  • @690169 whats wrong with you?? lol hehas a day cab, i wanna see him do that with a long nose peete with a 70 inch sleeper, still good job tho i give you props

  • @MrPolishadam

What do you mean...what's wrong with me? I just stated a fact lol

  • @690169 so what you are sayingis that its harder to back into that spot there with a shorter trailer and a day cab than a over the road truck with a 53 ft trailer

  • @MrPolishadam

I'd rather back up with his tractor trailer then lets say a tractor trailor that's half that sise....shorter tailers are to damn touchy you move the wheel a little bit the wrong way and it's almost a lost cause.....so yeah any longer trailer i'd rather back up

  • @690169 im 17 and thats what my dad says. he used to park the trailers b/c alot of the drivers didnt know how. we have a 12 footer that i learned how to back up and im doing pretty good. but back too the point i would like to try the big boys one day.

  • @codmod2killer

Once you mastered backing the smaller trailers you' be shocked how easy the big ones are

  • @690169 cool

  • @690169.... SO true the bigger the trailer the easier it is to back up . I drove streched trailers w/the pin that locks ..... 83 feet ( I think ) with 25 feet hanging over the back at DTE power plant . Backing around all the chaos , 90 degree angles , cranes . Shit ..... no harm or put down intended at all , but you were over steering ... You shouldn't have had to pull forward that many times & you stalled the truck at 2:50 ( notice the edit ) ... try not to over steer so much.... peace

  • hahaha la-os!

  • if he had a sideshifter he could park any size trailer he wanted. it makes it simple to back up an park. just type sideshifter in the youtube search. or go to sideshifteronline. com

  • Separates the men from the boys.

  • what fuck fart made that place so close to the dutch lol

  • Nice use of the blinkers, prick

  • It's a day cab quit braggin

  • Luxury Shipping Lines ship cars, oilwell supplies, personal items domestic and international.

  • not too bad. a real driver enjoys stops like this. Might be a pain in the ass, but you sure do feel good once it's in.

  • @bern9548 That's what she said, driver.

  • good luck parking this plane without going down the ditch.

  • Things buildings have been there a long time and only the trucks have gotten bigger. I remember going into places when i could back in and the whole truck was in a straight line and you could walk around the front. Then in the early 80's they brought in the 42' and then 48's and you were no longer straight and crawling under the trailer. Eventually, they will have too modify the buildings, but in the mean time...we just have too get on with it...No sense whining, nothing changes ..yet.

  • il second iltisn on that. British Health & Safety would have a field day at that company. Bet theres a few got stuck on the verge.

  • That company should get a fork lift.

  • Well done buddy. When I was driving in Europe there a loads of places like that, especially London. Originally built to take a horse cart now you have to go in with an artic and back in sometimes on the blind side! Very good control and got the job done. Awesome!!

  • I realy hope they would put the guy who planned the place for building try to back there with that truck mayby after that they would really start to think where is correct place to put these buildings...

Great work thmbs up for you =)

  • What a shit hole to try and get into.

  • not a 90.

  • you need a smaller tractor.... more hours to try again.....come to mexico...we do miracles here and the better part...we work for peanuts...

  • where ya your forways driver... tisk tisk lol

  • you suck!

  • what a stupid place to put a building

  • i love the "yep, thats right, THAT JUST HAPPENED!!!" expression he gave when he got out of the truck when all was said and done!! great job trucker!!!

  • Thank god for the day cab!

  • the driver is a twat, i could have done that much quicker.

  • @bollinger1000 Your a twat for posting something as silly as that. Post a vid of you backing like this, then we will see who the real twat is. Your just a arrogant CB warrior.

  • @bollinger1000 and destory everything in the lot

  • its always about finding that sweet spot to cut it in, now isnt it... Nice job btw...

  • that was tight spot most guys would tell them to forget it get the yard dog to spot it ass holes well put a docks anywhere

  • is that an fld?

  • Great job asshole, I'm late for work now! Get your damn truck off the road!

  • Congra-ja-fuck-u-lations.

  • if they widened the road by two feet the trucks would be in and out, shitty management wastes everyone's time.

  • Tare omule, mi-e dor de fazele alea, o data mi sa intamplat sa da cu spatele vreo suta de. Metri in forma de S si dupa sa-l rup Asa, da da new jersey, ...

  • good job bro

  • Excellent driving driver. I live in Jersey

  • I've had places where I had to do a 90 degree blind side backup. I would literally have to stand up behind the steering well to look in the passenger side mirror. to see where I was going. Not fun.

  • @MrINeedSome Ditto. In Queens, New York. With a 53 footer. In the middle of the street.

  • ппц мало места

  • what a freaking deathtrap

  • The master of backups.

  • Man... what a shithole, Ive seen places like these in Jersey , There is no damn way that he would of made it is he had a full size truck/ Romanian Ce gaura de cacat am vazut locuri asa nasparlii prin Jersey nu ar fi reusit daca era un camion cu dormitor.

  • This company has the right idea old FLD awesome sound

  • what happened at 2:50? I wanna c the unedited video.... before I can compare this to the "backing up in cincinnati ohio with vtl transport."

  • what happened at 2:50? I wanna c the unedited video.... before I can compare this to the "backing up in cincinnati ohio with vtl transport."

  • good job

  • seriously fuck that my hat goes off to you! the land owner should have that ditch filled in leveled off and paved for you poor bastards that gotta back in there it rediculous they even designed the building like that

  • wow, this guy has skills. I'd have smashed into everything within 6 miles of me if I was trying to do that.

  • it is easy in a day cab

  • @samedeepwater2

not much difference between jacking a day cab or jacking any other truck except your setup. I drive a 240" wheelbase kenworth.

  • I know a place were its tighter if not the same but i do know the owner has lost a few trucks over the bank its like that realy sharp turn or youll go over the bank.

  • is it hard getting your cdl becuase im kind of interested

  • @plksnatchers trying to find a company that accepting student is a bitch in this economy. so many want you to have 160hrs or more.so many of the mega companies like schnider, werner,us xpress used to have there own schools, schnider still do but all three want you to fund school by your self.it use to be if you pass their school, your gauranteed a job but now you got to get your training hours and pass a 3 day orientation that consist of paperwork, physical, and road test and no gaurantee. goodluck

  • i started my training and i love trucks

  • Screw that! I'd be on the phone w/didpatch letting them know I can't/won't make that delivery..

I'm not taking the chance and mucking that up and having my DAC report get hammered because of it..Let the receiver pay for two straight trucks..

But hey, good job getting it in the hole Driver.I just know I wouldn't have messed with it..

  • reusit back up.foarte frumos.

  • i dont like that emediate drop off right beside the road

  • try doing that with a sleeper

  • starting trucking school monday... watching this is makin me nervous as hell

  • @nodnarbdoowron jus pay attention thats all u got to do

  • thats my daddy <3 <3 <3

  • nice job! nice truck too

  • I'm about to get my class A CDLs and I'm only 18 so I gotta stay in the state of VA untill I'm 21 then I getcut losse doin long hauls I can't wait any advice from exp. Drivers that I need to know for the test and school

  • @nate2891VA just pay attention

  • @nate2891VA @nate2891VA are you driving already because now i'm doing what you were doing i started on saturday straight backing and did not hit one single cone, and after 40 minutes i started doing it accelerating, the instructor was amazed with me

  • nice daycab

  • I'm a relatively new driver. No i would'nt of crapped my pants, just would of took me a bit longer and prob. of gotten out a couple of times to check the grass side. lol I run with a sleeper cab and been to plenty of tight places mostly in Jersey City/ Elizabeth NJ/union City NJ / Long Isl. NY where that would be a wall instead of grass :) You're right, patience and if i may add don't panic, I kinda visualize what i am gona do before i start moving in to back up. Have not smacked anything yet!

  • Good job. A new guy would be crapping his pants.

  • gotta love these poorly designed docks, or the ones from old buildings built back when trailers were only 40 feet long or less

  • stie da-l in plm .. jmecher.

  • bravo frate

  • that's a good one... we just love spots like this do we. hahaha Lucky U have a city truck

  • I hate stops like this one. =(

  • u miss and its on ur dac, they shouldnt allow trailers that size in there

  • i know....many drivers refused to go there

  • @fratelemeu being a trucker i hire yea that place would be a bitch for a highway tractor people who draft the buildings who think more about the loading docks good job by the way i do see why people bitch about places like that walk it out first check everything take your time i'll be tight but least you'll get in hopefully and if u cant they usually have a ramp and a forklift .

  • @fratelemeu .yeah, but it keeps up your skills and shows your ability goes beyond those who won't do the job. Personally,if I was the owner of that company ,I'd call your boss and compliment you on your skill.Trucking is a never ending class room of learning and you should never stop learning driving trucks until the day you retire. It's not your fault the trucks are bigger and i hear they may get bigger yet with up to 58 to 60 footers possibly coming...Nice job...very nice job..

  • @canadiantimberwolf1 why didn't u get a job as a truck driver in UK?.....I would love to work in Europe

  • @fratelemeu ..That is a good question. At the time I had driven for 26 years and when I came too the UK with my wife, I found out that I needed too everything again and I just did not have the want to do so. So I decided to try warehousing (Hate it).So I never bothered.I spent time unloading and loading and sat in a few trucks and i found the want too be back in the cab.So after awhile, the driving came too life again since we are returning too Canada, i found I needed too get back into the cab.

  • de pinga ese parkeo

  • @hiramswife1 es lo maximo

  • hehhehehehheheh............lasa-te de meserie

  • cheap a trailer with a steering axle, 10 seconds and you are inside of that building.

  • good job man!:)):))

  • over jacking not comming out of the bend fast enough is why you're running out of room at front of tractor

  • I know the site. I did a few time to the next door, where it is even tighter. The neighbour (Electronics Recycling Plant) is even tighter. the address is xxx midwest ( midland/ lawrence e). I work for lansing express right across the ditch.

  • u right that is the place, but at electronics recycling plant u can not fit a 53' trailer ,may be a 48'

  • @fratelemeu

I always do 53' footer. The only thing that you have to watch is that your tractor rolls backwards onto solid edge.

  • @fratelemeu

53' possible, my company does have many 48'.

  • Wait, did he do it? Looked like he stopped short.

Thats the problem with the big sticks and small lots.

  • I think you almost had that one nailed. We all have then ones though. Tough luch with the backing up.

  • @Daz1179 No, he's on the dock . . . while still jacked 90 degrees. Shitty terminal.

  • I'm not impressed due to Day-Cab. let me see if truck with 10 feet long bunk.........

  • custom ARI sleepers are restricted to shorter trailers, such as the 90" sleepers, DOT regs only alow you to be 70ft total length...for a reason. Thats why most of the custom sleepers you see are moving companys with 48' drop deck vans. Moving guys only go home every 6-7 monthes lol, they need the big sleepers.

  • nice backing man!

  • Awesome job ace. Great lesson!!!

  • good job..ihave had back ins like that a pain in the ass but we get er done...well done thou

  • At least it wasn't a blindside! Lol

  • job well done! done like a true professsional!

  • damn good job

  • They built that dock back before 53' trailers, didn't they?

  • the best ;) vreau si eu sa conduc :D:D:D

  • Mad Skills!

    Awesome man.

  • niiice man u got skills

  • job well done

  • misto rau tiru

  • MAD skills. Much respect!

  • eres pendejo

  • more of a 60 degree turn, but your best off at 60 degrees tham 90...

  • Well Done !

  • good thing you drive a day cab ... he he and not a conventional one, with the sleeper ...

    you did great!

  • you're a teacher!

  • excellent driving skills

  • tight space. big trailer.. nice job
