Question can you hook up 4 4ohm subs to a mono block? Can you hook up 4 4ohm subs to a 2 channel amp? Im thinking of getting 4 tens and needing to know.

@TheSilentmilk Hi well what im running is a JBL 2400 watt amp which goes down to 2 ohms. As long as you have an amplifier that goes down to 2 ohms that would be ok but do not go below the ohms or else youllFRY YOUR AMP Also check out crunchfields web site they have the info on how to wire up your speakers to the amplifier. Hope this helps,

Those Subs hit hard, and got some excursion lmao. They look like jelly!!!! Is your box ported or sealed? And if ported is it a sub up port back design? If not, if its sealed are you losing any gain in volume because of them facing the roof?

@xhenchmanx The box is a sealed. By having them facing up there is no distortion if i had them facing the back of the car it might sound a little bit louder but some distortion would be there as i have noticed in the past systems when i would open up the hatch and they do not sound good at all :-)

off the hook !! I have six tens and in my other car i had two mtx then two alpines, the six tens are sony xplod and i should have gone mtx. That excurstion is amazing, is it sealed or ported and how big is the box

@jeffreyjschwab Hey Jeffrey This box is a sealed box never really got into the ported boxes. I forget the measurements on the box but it is a big box. I think the depth is 18" inches and width is 27" id have to measure it again to make sure but i think this is close LOL Thanks for looking. OZZ

nice system...would you recommend 4 10's or 3 12's i have a single cab truck and really cant decide...i was going to do 2 15's but i dont have enough depth...so 4 10s or 3 12s is what im deciding one

@low72 Hi thanks for looking a good question i would say if you want to move more air i would recomend 4 10's you would be having 40 inches rather than 36 inches or air. 10's have a more punchy but they still can go low too. I have had 2 12's and they pounded as well but i have noticed when i put 4 10's it is more louder with the same watts. If you have a problem with box space i know that there is free air subs though im not sure if they sell them anymore but look into it.

@tmaxxmonster2 Hi Tmaxxmonster2 i will have to say that the 10's will be punchy and also will hit the lows but probally not as deep as you would like them to be. But with getting 3 10's comapred to only 1 12 you will see a difference. Hope this helps.
